I wasn't expecting the outside construction to look like this. I was hoping they would do like what Vegas did and make it look like one of the H boxes with ribbon...

It's super early stage still - The faux bricks were painted onto the facade just before Christmas. I imagine they will gussy it up sometime soon (one would hope).I wasn't expecting the outside construction to look like this. My SA told me it was going to a smaller-ish store with more limited inventory... anyone have intel on what the inventory is expected to look like?
heard the same thing too, but unfortunately nothing specific on the inventory level! My SA told me it was going to a smaller-ish store with more limited inventory... anyone have intel on what the inventory is expected to look like?
yea I am going to still go to SF because it's the same distance for me, I like the idea of bigger store and my SA who I've worked with for years isn't moving. The SAs in SF that I talked to also are unsure as to how many clients will move to the PA store as a result of the opening!I just heard the same thing. The SA I spoke to said the SF store would be a "flagship" once the remodel is complete, implying it would be more like a destination shopping experience. I still plan to shop at SF store so left it at that. I'll press for more info next time I go to H.
Yes, was told they will even have a cafe there! Can't wait!I just heard the same thing. That sounds fun!Yes, was told they will even have a cafe there! Can't wait!
Oh my, that would be so great. Does anyone how many stories the store will be as I heard it will be largest in the U.S?Yes, was told they will even have a cafe there! Can't wait!
Was told two floors if I didn't remember wrongly. But I think no way it will be larger than MadisonOh my, that would be so great. Does anyone how many stories the store will be as I heard it will be largest in the U.S?
Thats really interesting! I didnt know that Saks used to be there!I believe "flagship" means that the store has all of the categories sold by the brand. So SF will have a furniture section, larger housewares, etc. My own suspicion (based on nothing!) is that the PA store will be more like the temp SF store that we have now - limited selection and some departments missing entirely, but still plenty of drool-worthy items.
I believe that H owns the entire building on Grant St. - most of you are probably way too young to know this, but Saks used to be in that building. Always felt like Saks got much more use out of the space than H has. I wish they would hurry with the remodel - and with building out the PA space...
A cafe will be awesome - I always enjoy eating at Sevres.
My SA told me originally it was supposed to be the largest in the US. However, after the final floor plan it would be the second largest.Oh my, that would be so great. Does anyone how many stories the store will be as I heard it will be largest in the U.S?
