Hermes on Bluefly

This bag seems too different to be easily faked. They may only have a few but if someone holds them in their shopping cart but not buy, it can appear that they're gone. I saw two of these little bolides on the streets of manhattan in the past week and they are very adorable. I lament that me and blues are just not meant to be.

Unfortunately with Bluefly it's never a sure thing. They buy overstock and I think some of their buyers don't know how to spot fakes. They have sold fake and authentic Balenciaga bags in the past. But luckily they have a return policy so if it's fake, it's easy enough to get your money back (and let them know it's fake, of course).

I've bought a ton of stuff from Bluefly over the years, and never had a fake HOWEVER I have known plenty of people who bought fake Balenciaga and even Chanel there. I also heard that they were selling fake Tods for a while, but I bought an orange Mikey from them and it's authentic.

So I would definitely proceed with caution if you are ever considering buying something pricey from them. Their return policy is very good, but still...

gga: Wow! I didn't know that. Thanks for the headsup! :flowers:

Princessfrog I am with you on that. I didn't even know that Bluefly sold Hermes items and now the authenticity is being questioned............

I'm tempted to email Hermes and ask if in fact Bluefly is an authorized dealer. Has anyone asked before?

I have purchased 2 items. Bag came with authentic dust bag and scarf was in the H. box.

I felt comfortable purchasing from them since there was a return policy if I didn't like it. Both were great!

^They're not an authorized dealer. We're all wondering where the goods are coming from but I haven't heard about a fake H item being sold there (gazoo's watch is the first one I hear about).

I've always had the feeling that these were items that came from "instore" boutiques like a Richards in Connecticut. Or even, duty free shop items.
