Does anyone have any experience with purchasing Petit H items in NYC? I am intrigued by the mystery of it but was wondering if there is an in store purchasing option.
They have pop-ups around the world and I believe the store in Rome is permanent. At least it was there every time I visited over the course of multiple years. I think there were one or two pop-ups in the states over the years too.

No. The NY boutiques do not cultivate long distance clients like they used to. Madison in particular prioritizes clients that can physically come into the store to shop. Phone orders etc. are unlikely to merit the kind of attention that would lead to QB acquisition. For any other purchases, feel free to shop wherever you like. I occasionally shop Singapore, Liat, and it is the same. They are exceedingly nice and I buy a few items of RTW when I visit family once a year. Although I could meet 1X plus a year, i dont consider myself in the pool of regulars (and more importantly, neither do they).

It is possible that FSH would bend for a longstanding or high spending client, but twice a year is considered on the low side of new clients that hope to become regular. (I shop FSH twice a year with a regular SA, and I get offered QBs twice a year, but I still consider Madison my local store where the large majority of spend goes). This is my understanding from speaking to a few SAs at FSH. Of course exceptions will be made for the right client, but few of us meet those kinds of exceptions.

For Las Vegas or Hawaii, I get the impression that for QB, more than once a year would be expected in order to become known as a regular for someone new.

It’s my understanding that Petit H can only be purchased at Sevres in Paris or on line. This may be due to the extreme limited aspect of its creation

ETA: my observations are really limited to my own personal experience. I believe that the experiences of long tenured clients are very different.
ok i think im on the right track now. i should still go to other stores when i travel just in case they have something that i want that i cant get in my “home” store. but otherwise for “normal” items i should just get them from the home store to chalk up the spend 💪🏻 ok i have a game plan now 😂

anyway just wanted to share what i was told today in case it helps anyone. i went back for a twilly today and (had to) asked about a bag (not a b or c or k). the first person said she would get someone to help me (and i had told her i got the current bag on tues). but when the SA came, she told me that they won’t sell anyone more than one bag per week or two (?) not even the locals. i sort of understand where she was coming from because one could technically go in there daily and buy a non QB daily. but i just didn’t know there was such a rule 😂

That's not surprising. They will not offer you more than 1 bag per month (regardless of quota or not) typically. If you got a bag on Tuesday, it is highly unlikely that they will offer you another bag in a month. At least in Madison, one cannot buy a non-QB daily.

Really? I saw people get 2 or 3 NQ bags per visit, maybe they have 2 or 3 accounts with the boutique

Does everyone always get email confirmations of appts with their SA? This is the first time I’ve gotten one for my 5th appt with him so wondering if they’re cracking down with appt length

In my experience, I do not communicate with my SA via emails at all. We only do it via text messages. I think most people in Madison maison communicate with their SAs via text messages.

But when the SA puts an appt into the system don’t you get an email confirmation from Hermes? I always do, as well as a text confirmation from Hermes. So my SA and I text each other to set up an appt, then she enters it into the system - I assume to show she is busy and cannot be booked by others - then I get an email/text from the company. Always.

It seems to be variable. Sometimes I get an email confirmation and sometimes I don't. I'm not sure why. I also communicate mostly with my SAs via text and set up the appt via text. Only get an email confirmation sometimes.

That's interesting. I have never got any emails for appointments; I guess it all varies.
