Does anyone know what they’re expecting as far as line and wait when they open to the public Monday? I’m thinking of going to check it out, but not a fan of a long wait outside
Recent store openings in Austin Tx and South Coast Plaza Costa Mesa CA saw lines of up to 8 hours long during the first week. Even in the pictures above you can see lines even though everyone there had scheduled appointments. Despite opening to the public next week, SAs will still have several pre scheduled appointments each day with known clients so the walk in line is destined to be slooooww.
Yikes. Does anyone know how long the bags will stay on display? I can wait - just don’t want to miss the show!
The queue will be crazy long, plus this is NY so more people will be lining up.
I'd make an appointment. All the SAs I know are already pretty full up next week, which means walk-in will be funky. Or go downtown, they still have stock!
My experience was very similar to @880's. My appointment was for 5 pm, but my SA texted me and told me to come at 5:30. There was a line, everyone had appointments, but not too long a wait. There were so many very fancy people with eye popping bags and outfits! Here are some pictures, including my very first B, which is a black Box with PHW!!

I’ve asked a concierge to set up an appointment for me and if an appointment is secured I’ll go, if not I will probably wait until things calm down…but I just wish I knew how long the beautiful bag displays will stay!
