My SA just moved from Wall St to Madison, but I am staying with her. Meatpacking is probably my closest store, ironically. Anyway, I will miss Wall St. but my SA is so much of my H experience I didn’t want to have another SA!

Your SA will get credit and commission but your store does not get credit for it as a sale. It doesn’t count against you in any way, it’s just not as great as buying ready stock directly from your store. Can someone elaborate on the definition of store specific purchase history? My SA at MP often sources specific items I ask for from other stores nationwide and has them shipped to me. Does that count toward the MP store sales or the other ones she sourced it from?

Excellent explanation ( as always, @acrowcounted)Your SA will get credit and commission but your store does not get credit for it as a sale. It doesn’t count against you in any way, it’s just not as great as buying ready stock directly from your store.
Thank you! A follow up question… I would assume then that the touted 1:1 or 2:1 purchase history for a qb offer would be store specific purchases/stock?Your SA will get credit and commission but your store does not get credit for it as a sale. The current Madison location accepts walk ins so assuming the new location follows that practice, you should be able to stop by without an appointment as well. After two years as a client of the Miami Design District boutique, I am returning to the office/moving back to NYC and my move is imminent. I have been back to NYC several times for work, but there was never enough time to cruise into a boutique. In Miami, I can come/go without an appointment. Question: is NYC by appointment only? I would be visiting the new Madison boutique after October 1. Is there a velvet rope outside the boutique or may I just walk in? I appreciate your help in advance!
My Sa asked if I want private appt on Oct 1st since 9/30 is all booked . Should I say yes to that? Not sure what the expectation on how much to spend I think official opening is on 10/3.I need to correct a typo I made…the 3-5 mil target is PER DAY for the opening weekend, which usually starts on a Friday (and sometimes even a private VIP opening on Thursday/Thursday evening).
When you say $$$ do you know if there will be expectations? I just want to get a bracelet not and my SA did ask if I want Oct 1 for the appt which is first 2 dayI was told that they were taking appointments but the first 2 days are for clients that will be spending lots of $. They are anticipating making millions within the first two days
Dummy question, so the appointment for opening days is only for Existing customers who have pre spend at Madison? So if my home store is MP, it means there is no way I can ask to be in the list ?I need to correct a typo I made…the 3-5 mil target is PER DAY for the opening weekend, which usually starts on a Friday (and sometimes even a private VIP opening on Thursday/Thursday evening).
Typically (though covid has made this variable for openings the past couple of years) there is a dinner/party on the Thursday evening offsite from the new store but afterwards, people from the party are brought to the store to be the first to see it and have cocktails (and some incredibly exceptional pieces would be sold during this evening preview.) Obviously the invite list for this is extremely limited, mostly selected by corporate, and extensively VIP. Then the following day, Friday, can be either exclusively invite only appointments (scheduled by the current store SAs with their prior favorite clients) or some mix of client appointments and walk-in line standers. Usually this continues through Saturday and Sunday where each SA is allowed to schedule a handful of client appointments each day and has to service walk-ins between appointments (though it seems to me, based on recent 6-8 hour long lines each day, that the SAs spend most of their time schmoozing with known faces and take very few walk ins). Your option as a non Madison client would be to stand in line for however long it takes. Warning however that if you succeed in purchasing at Madison, its like your MP SA would be unhappy with your “disloyalty“Dummy question, so the appointment for opening days is only for Existing customers who have pre spend at Madison?
