Hopefully things pick up, I’d maybe shoot your SA a text to look out for the GP for you. Things seem to be trickling in slowly
I hope so too. Thanks! I'll do that and let them know.

I saw a sign that Hermes is coming? Anyone interested or thoughts? Is it going to be a full store or just beaute? Really curious!
It’s going to be silks and accessories from what I’ve heard from my SA and no bags. Sad because the location is definitely more convenient for meI saw a sign that Hermes is coming? Anyone interested or thoughts? Is it going to be a full store or just beaute? Really curious!
Welcome to TPF! I’m not in NY so I don’t have personal tailored experience to your boutique but in general I would shop with someone I clicked with. Many have described moving between a few before they found their SA. Do you think you click with this second one you met? Did you like the first one better? They can always look in your purchase history and figure out who helped you the first time. I wouldn’t take what the second one said too literally. I think we all generally know it can take a long time but then miracles can happen. The person you end up clicking with will end up warming up to you and who knows it may end up being a shorter time frame. I would focus on finding someone you like and then purchasing items you are actually interested in and showing your enthusiasm. Above all else just be kind and patient with them. That goes much further than anything!Hi everyone, I’m new here and fairly new in my Hermes journey. I just put in my bag wishlist with my SA yesterday and was told right away that I have to wait atleast 2 years or more for it. Shouldn’t she wait and see if I keep coming back and buy more to show my loyalty and get offered earlier, rather than saying that or should I find a new SA? This is my 2nd time in MP store, because the first time I didn’t get a chance to get my SA’s contact info, so the 2nd time I went I was helped by another one (who I put my wishlist with). I have a few Hermes stuffs already, but I bought it in Europe, and I just decided to start building local relationship here in NY. Any advices? TIA!
The first one was helpful too but didn’t have much interaction with her because the store was about to close, so we’re in a rush, hence I didn’t get her contact info, but might try to find her again since it’s in my receipt anyways. Thank you so much for your advice!Welcome to TPF! I’m not in NY so I don’t have personal tailored experience to your boutique but in general I would shop with someone I clicked with. I think some SAs give long lead time estimates for a couple of reasons: to under promise and over deliver without pressure, as well as to weed out the people who are just trying their luck for a first time shopping “score” and will never be seen again once they hear “two years”. Unless you asked for something off the charts like a mini kelly or Himalayan Birkin, in which case two years is probably an underestimate, just keep shopping and be a pleasant person to work with and your bag will eventually arrive.Hi everyone, I’m new here and fairly new in my Hermes journey. Totally agree with all your points and especially the lastI think some SAs give long lead time estimates for a couple of reasons: to under promise and over deliver without pressure, as well as to weed out the people who are just trying their luck for a first time shopping “score” and will never be seen again once they hear “two years”. I just ask for not exotic Birkins, but yes, I totally agree with everything. Thank you for some insights and positive notes! I appreciate it. I will keep you all posted once I receive my first Holy bag!I think some SAs give long lead time estimates for a couple of reasons: to under promise and over deliver without pressure, as well as to weed out the people who are just trying their luck for a first time shopping “score” and will never be seen again once they hear “two years”. I think because MP is a smaller store and with the stock so unpredictable she’s trying to level set your expectations. Especially if you are asking for a size or colors that are very popular. Like others mentioned I’d you vibe stay with her if you don’t feel that you fully vibe with her I would switch to another SA but don’t be surprised if the same answer is given about quota bags. Shipments have just been so unpredictable and sometimes far in between that I think all SAs are feeling the pressure of high demand and low InventoryHi everyone, I’m new here and fairly new in my Hermes journey. Oh, I mean I was in Madison. Sorry, I just realize MP is a different store, still trying to get to know the areas and Hermes abbreviations use here.
