Truly stunning!!! Congratulations !

Thank you sweetie! :blush::blush::blush:

and I have to agree with you on the Mosaique over Roulis comparison, I actually own both and I have to say the craftsmanship on the Mosaique is superb! I love the structure of it and the unique hardware.
I think this might have finally killed my Constance yearning :lol::lol::lol:

Hi Everyone/ Anyone:

If you own a Mosaique 17 or 21, how does it wear? I just purchased a pre-owned 17 cm, and the owner said she only used it 1-2 times. The item was listed as excellent, which it is. Upon inspecting the bag, I noticed where the flap opens, where it connects the body of the bag, there is what looks like a small tear at the junction? I've attached a photo. Top is where I noticed the tear, the bottom picture is the other side where it does not have a tear yet. It's not major, but if that can happen with 1-2 wear, then what will eventually happen with more use? Will the tear get bigger and eventually needs to be sent back to Hermes for repair? I can see how this is more prone to tearing than the constance since this is much more rigid.

I am really debating as to whether to keep or return it. Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

It would be helpful to get a photo from another angle, but to me it looks like just a crack in the resin. Can you bring it in to the store to examine, they may be able to send it in to fix for you.

Thanks for checking for me! I've attached another photo. Top is the "crack" and bottom is the left side/ non cracked side. From handling the bag in my hands the opening for each section of the 17 cm is quite narrow and rigid, and I could see how it could have been easily stretched and cracked.

I only attempted to put a Samsung s10, a mini bearn wallet/ cardholder, and a LV 6 key cles, and it was already full and heavy. May be able to fit a lipstick more. But for anyone thinking about purchasing this, this does not "stretch" like the constance. With the constance, if you overstuff it, you can probably still close it by maneuvering it a bit. This doesn't have much of a "stretch". Just my honest opinion.

I have a Mosaique 23 and have enjoyed using it tremendously. I don't own a Constance, so I can't compare - however you are correct it doesn't stretch. This is the beauty of this bag. It remains structured and keeps it's shape.

My bag is used quite often, I don't see any wear, but I honestly don't inspect my bags up close. If you aren't happy, then return it. I refuse to inspect my bags under a macro setting, it would drive me bonkers. If you see this flaw(?) with the naked eye and you are concerned about the long term longevity, you should return it.

I agree -- I would seriously consider returning it.

I have mosaique 24 in size 17 Epsom leather and have been using it almost everyday for the past 4 months. I do not baby my bags so I've already scratched up the hardware quite a bit. Per my SA, they will be able to polish out hardware scratches and fix up any signs of use when I send it in for spa in the future. Upon seeing your post, I checked my flap to see if I noticed any cracks. I don't think I'm seeing anything noticeable. I will try to take some pics for you to see when I get the chance.
Besides cracks, I've definitely scratched the leather (I know right?) in other places. Even though Epsom is supposed to be hard wearing it's still going to show wear if not careful. If these imperfections bother you, I think you should definitely think about returning the bag.

Hi, thinking of getting a mosaique 17. But worried it’s too stiff and too small for practical day use. Would really appreciate feedback. Thanks in advance.

As always it depends on what you carry :)

Though I love my Mosaique 17, and it is pretty and practical to be able to carry it both cross-body and on the shoulder, it IS very small. I can fit a tiny card case, keys, phone, airpod case, lipgloss and sunglasses in soft case if I arranged everything just so. IMG_0580.JPGIMG_0580.JPG

Thank you very much! This is most helpful!
