Hello fellow Malaysian tpfers,

Has anyone ever scored a Birkin at KL H Boutique? Can you share with me how long you have to wait? Please? I have been looking for one and for more than two years now and still looking.:nogood:

Hubby wants to get one for my coming birthday gift. Appreciate your advise and feedback.

Actually exactly how much they want us to spend? The thing is there's nothing much in the boutique that I like. How to buy? My husband bought me some bags and a shoe from H KLIA but they said that doesn't count coz it's a different company. I'm fed up. That's why I'm paying more to resellers to get it now. Hate trying to please others and beg for a bag.

I get what you mean. It's hard sometimes..but I'm not good at telling the fakes vs the real ones. So, i'm not brave enough to go the reseller route yet but I wouldn't rule out the possibilitiies even though I very much love the whole buying experience at a H boutique.

When did you order? 2 to 2.5 yr sounds right. :smile1:

Hi Bagcrazy11 - yes agreed with you. When I was living in Sin, I got the watch, shoes, GP, ring, lots of scarves. Was offered Kelly many times n Birkin once. All those extra shopping adds up! Resellers are good alternative so long you know it's legit. Or convince DH to bring us to Paris or Japan is great too! :D

I didn't order for one as far as I am concern (unless hubby secretly did it...hehe). How does one go about ordering one? Do I have to spend a certain amount with a particular store? My H purchases are pretty sporadic since I'm in several places. I don't buy a lot from H KL, mostly scarves and SLGs. I was offered Kellys a few times (once walk in and twice by cell) but for some reasons the heart is so set on Birkin (don't get me wrong, I like Kelly too but right now the 'fix' is for B)......sigh patience growing thin....;)

Okay, you ladies got me thinking and with patience growing thin.....I guess I might have to take the reseller route. Then again, there's also questions on authenticity. I don't own one and am not good at telling the fake from the real. Truth be told, I was almost conned once all for the sake of B.....

Any recommendation for KL legit reseller? My SA in KL told me that they do not authenticate bags. Nearest H craftman (I think) would be in SG and they don't really authenticate bags but would reject fake bags, sent in for spa.

Of course, there's also the Paris route (which hubby plans to this year end..:graucho::yahoo:....more H goodies hopefully).....which is my plan B.

Definitely Plan B. If I can do it, I am sure everybody else can...
And nothing beats shopping at a boutique.

Thanks sweet Noneeta for your kind support of my Plan B;). I am already counting the days.....hopefully hubby keeps his word and diary in check. (Well a little hint and reminder usually helps...ya think so??).

May I quote this phrase of yours, 'If I can do it, I am sure everybody else can...' Do you mind sharing the experience? Please...pretty please.....

I totally agree "And nothing beats shopping at a boutique"....and in this case H Paris and big orange boxes.

KellyBeeGirl, you actually walked in and they offered you a kelly? Wow that is amazing. I bought stuff just to 'qualify' and yet still in Q. Maybe my SA is hopeless.

Is it guaranteed that they hve birkins in Paris? If so, time to dog some planning lol ...:-))
