I can’t take credit as it’s actually my mom who kept her in such good condition!
She always made sure that the bag was put back in the dust bag after every outing, with its “stuffing” put back inside. She stored it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. When it began to sag a bit, I know she inserted old t-shirts to help keep it’s shape. Sometimes she used leather wipes to help maintain its condition. And spa! The bag went to the H spa a few times as she got older.

I have a retourne Kelly that turns 68 this year and doesn't have a loose stitch. Box calf and has kept shape perfectly. If treated well I have no doubts the bag will look good at 100.
Can you advise what/if leather conditioner was used? TIA I hope to keep mine for many years to come...

I second that. I had ordered inserts for my Birkins from Connie before and absolutely loved them! I just got my first Kelly 28 and while it was on layaway I ordered an insert for it from Connie again. It fits perfectly!
I am looking at a 28 retourne from a reseller and would love some opinions on whether the corner wear is acceptable or not. Is there a thread to ask that in? I'm not sure if it's ok to ask and post that?
