Thanks for the update! Going there next month will definitely check on the Chypre. Hopefully they have the regular leather ones.
I told her last time that I want a cargo picotin 2 tone. Turns out I have left over points from getting the B25 so she texted me and ask if I wanted the picotin. I just went in picked up the chypre and the picotin. I didn’t spend 1:1 this time. BUT yes normally non quota are 1:1, you can get anything if they have the bag (even on display). After I got mine, I saw another orange P18 cargo and one two toned like mine! So if you want one, definitely stop by!
For now, only exotic skin and stud. My SA said she haven’t seen regular leather in a while. Since a lot of customers are waitlist on chypres normal leather especially size 37-39. I was lucky, since I came in to pick up the picotin LITERALLY as the chypres shipment arrived so they didn’t have time to put these on hold for their client. I snatched it so quick my credit card flew out of my purse.

Went in to the boutique this afternoon and was checking out some items that weren’t available in my home store. Whilst browsing, I was greeted by an SA who very kindly assisted me in checking for sizes and colors for the orans, kelly Diamond bracelet and RTW.
After browsing the shoes and RTW section and of course some small chat here and there, I casually asked if there were any B or K available and his first reply was “I’m so sorry, we do not have any available B or K this afternoon.”
I didn’t probe further and continued shopping and was looking at the Kelly 24 Diamond bracelet and he took one out in my size and whilst trying it on, I mentioned that I was very happy to have found my size here in HCM since my home boutique doesn’t have any in my size. He smiled and said that this is really popular with the ladies and the smaller sizes do run out pretty fast, as with the shoes.
I decided to try my luck again and asked if there was any possibility he could help with a QB. He then smiled and said that he could try and ask for the specific specs that I would be interested in. I named him a couple and he went off to check the inventory.
The SA came back awhile later and showed me the pictures of the available B and K available and (here’s the main point!) that he could offer me the bag if I met the pre-spend of USD$50K (excluding the bag) on the same day.
The SA told me that their pre-spend ratio is almost 4:1 and that he would be able to secure the bag for me and I could bring it home on the same day if I pre-spent USD$50k on other non leather items.
After much deliberation, I sadly aborted my “mission”.
Even with the kelly Diamond bracelet, I was only at the half-way mark to USD$50K. There were only the smaller sizes for the shoes and the RTW didn’t exactly have those that I was looking for.
For those who are looking at Chrype sandals, they only have those in exotic skin and no regular leather ones. Even those in exotic skin are in sizes 37 and below.
For those who are looking at non QB bags, the pre-spend ratio is 1:1 and even then, it’s really up to the SM to decide whether or not to offer you the non QB bag.
For my fellow H lovers who are intending to head to HCM to score a QB, please be prepared to drop at least USD$70K (together with the bag) and like what @anonymousbirkin mentioned earlier, remember to strike a deal with them first before you start to pre-spend!

What about the pre-spent required in the US?
I've never tried for a quota bag in the US b/c I live in NYC and people keep on telling me it's super competitive here so I don't know much about US pre-spend req'ts. I did find a chart (copied below) on current US bag prices and it looks like Vietnam is more expensive. The table says 10,400 USD for B25 togo leather. I recently got a B25 in Paris as a tourist but don't have an expansive H bag collection yet. lol.
