Hello everyone. I just recently started shopping with an SA consistently and have reached a spend of only about 4K not including bags. My wonderful SA was able to get me a picotin and an Evelyn in very popular colors that I wanted after only working with her for a couple of months. I am not including those bags in my spend. Do you think now would be a good time to ask her about a quota bag? My dream is a Kelly 25. How much more do you think I need to spend before being offered one? I am still only going to buy the things I love but just not sure when I should ask and how much total in Vancouver roughly needs to be spent considering your SA got you other popular but non quota bags.
Thank you!

Hi all! Happy Saturday! I’m new to shopping Hermes! Does anyone know whether a Kelly to go is a QB at the Vancouver store? Thank you so much!!
Although it’s not a QB, I would say its not easy to get. My SA said they get such low stock of it in store, it flies of the shelves. I have a good spend history at the store and with my SA, it took a while for me to get the combo I was looking for (I was quite strict with what I want). Honestly, it was easier for me to get a picotin18 and all other items that are highly sought after than a Kelly to go black with ghw.
That being said, you might need to bit of history to buy one in store as it’s a popular model that only comes in limited stock.

Thank you so much for this info! May I ask how long it took to get your desired combo with regular purchases at the store? I am also looking for a pretty sought after combo. Also, if you don’t mind me asking what your spend ratio was before you were offered your Kelly to go? Thanks again!

It took me around 6 months from the time I mentioned to my SA. Unfortunately, don’t remember my spend ratio then but I was shopping regularly. I think you might need to be at 1.5:1. Maybe others who have a better memory can share their spend ratio for an idea. But I would assume it would be at least 1:1.

Hi,
Within the next year my family and I will be emigrating from the UK to Vancouver. Shallow me but One of the first things I checked is if there is a Hermes store there and am happy to see the answer is yes. Looking for insight into what it’s like with regards to stock (not QB) but across all categories. I am very spoilt in London as there are 4/5 H stores and we are close to France where I have successfully purchased in the past. I was hoping for some local intel. The UK is now based on wishlist. Is this the same in Vancouver? Thanks

Do you mean a waitlist where you put your name down and wait? If so unfortunately no. Outside of Europe there are not many (if any?) places that operate with a waitlist model like that.

Vancouver is a famously competitive store.

Yes, we give a “wish” of what bag, colour hardware size etc we would like. They record it on their system and then we hope and pray it’s fulfilled. The current system is the wish is active for a year. If it’s not fulfilled another wish needs be made. I’ve always had wishes fulfilled for a B or K (except for a Constance 24 bag).

So was wondering what the system in Vancouver is. Is it a case of SA relationship and being offered (as was the case in the past in London?)

The process/system in Canada is probably like everywhere else except Europe and you're spot on: relationship building, pre-spend. The catch is really that Canada is such a small market that we get waaaay less stock thus it's quite competitive :( all the best with the move

Yep. In Canada it’s going to be about relationship with an SA and spend (profile history). And be prepared for a good amount of spend in Vancouver because it’s a competitive store - even before Hermes got as competitive as they have been in the past couple years, Vancouver (and Toronto) have been famously a bit difficult. If you want bags that are in less popular specs though perhaps it will be easier!

Anyone else had this experience/is this normal in Vancouver? I was matched to a new SA via email and couldn’t make our appointment last week. Didn’t hear back about this week but I decided to drop by anyway. Arrive and get told they’re not here. Then promptly ignored for the 20 minutes I browsed the display (which I feel is not nearly the stock they have). Is it normal that no one else will help instead? I thought it wasn’t by appointment anymore, and have had wonderful drop in experiences previously. Sad.
