If anyone is in Vancouver, the event runs until the 25th. There were plenty of non-Hermes fans there but I'm pretty sure they may have just made a few new ones. My friend that I went with wasn't really that interested in going but once we got inside and saw some of the craftspeople doing their thing, she didn't want to leave
We went up to the boutique afterwards and spent far too much time inspecting all the porcelain pieces.

Does anyone know if this coming to Toronto? There was a similar event here a couple of years ago , but I couldn't go. This looks absolutely fascinating.

Thanks.

This is so cool. I wish we have this in US soon.

There was an exhibit in NYC in September of 2012 called Festival des Métiers. Hermès craftspeople demonstrated their respective craft specialties - jewelry diamond setting, Kelly bag construction, scarf printing, hand rolling scarf hems, etc. I believe the Vancouver exhibit is a similar version of this. So unless they plan another, it's already been in the US.

Yes; it's my understanding that it'll be some time in November according to my SA and the inventory will be pulled from all H boutiques across Canada.

Sale is on now. Nov 3 - 5, I believe. Vancouver store has big annual sales every May and November.

Was at the sale today. There's quite a few small bracelets left, lots of gloves, hats and ready to wear. Shoes were the most popular and a lot of sizes were depleted by the time I left. Although I think they might have other items for other days (?).

Men's wear seems to be less popular and lots of men's shoes still available.

Dropped by the H store today (Sunday), and it was PACKED!

Had lots of oran slippers in many colors
Rouge Evelyn
Black, navy, rouge Jypsiere
Many garden partys - 2 were being showed (a small etaupe color, and a medium navy)
Many clic clacs
