Be sure to ask your SA if the bag specs have been or can be ordered or if you should have broader specs.

The sooner you tell your SA, the more likely you are to be higher on the list for receipt.
Thanks @acrowcounted @GabrielleS and @cad33 :)
I was trying to figure out if I wanted to entertain the idea of my next bag to be not in a neutral colour, I was under the impression Toronto store orders largely neutrals.

I think a number of repeat customers are getting fed of seeing same neutrals in our store. A local reseller mentioned to me that some clients from Florida actually shop here bc they know they will get a neutral vs their local store where it is rarer.

Indeed, if your options are limited to Gold/Noir/Etoupe or Nata you probably won't be looking to add another BKC to your collection after some time. Being 12345-th in line for Rouge H does not sound optimistic either lol.
Anyway, I have a few colours in mind, will check with my SA :)

My SA asked me if I wanted to start my wishlist, and I am nowhere near the 1:1 ratio. However, I have made it known that while I want a Birkin 25 - and have wanted a Birkin since I was a child - I will not just buy things mindlessly to reach a certain spend threshold: I will buy what I want, when I want, and on my own timeline - I do have bills to pay, afterall😂! My SA is the best and totally loves my attitude🤣. Like, this is just stuff. It’s nice and fun to have, but not the most important thing in life. So far, I’ve been able to purchase everything that I have wanted (mind you, my collection is rather small and humble). To anyone who is newer, my advice is to be polite but direct. It’s okay if you mention that you’re interested in quota bags; it’s okay if you ask to start a wishlist. If you feel intimidated, be less direct (but still confident): “I’m not there yet, but one day I would like to add _____ to my collection. Can you kindly tell me how that process works?” “I’ve heard people talk about a wishlist. What is that, exactly? May I start one, too?”

Some SAs can be rude (there are a few SAs whom I personally don’t mesh with at this boutique) and can make going into the store intimidating. I’ve definitely encountered rude SAs at many a luxury boutique and department store (because I’m me, I usually dish it back or complain to a manager - but you can simply try working with another SA on a different day or at a different store). On the whole, the SAs at the Toronto boutique are lovely, and you shouldn’t feel afraid to ask for what you want.

Hope this helps!

Can anyone advise based on their experience on the spend mix that will push one closer to a QB. Also, at what point should I ask the SA to start a wishlist?TY!
I had to go to the Toronto boutique a few times before clicking with my SA. After 2-3 visits, I started my wishlist. I started with very small purchases so this must’ve been like 2k. After a year of waiting and a 2:1 spend I got a qb and non qb.

Good luck and enjoy the shopping!

Generally speaking purchaing across multiple catagoties helps. RTW, FJ/Watches and Home are considered to be the categories that strengthen your profile the most. Overall Hermes wants to see you as an extablished customer before selling you a B or a K. If you don't really like anything from these categories, splurging on a diamond bracelet /cashmere coat etc. may not be a good idea as your QB offer may not necessariy arrive imediately, instead you'd send a messaging to your SA that you're a big spender. My spend mix was shoes, belts, cashmere scarves, silver jewellery, home and an entry-level RTW.

Regarding a wishlist, I dont think there is any formula around that. I made my wish approx 6 months after working with my SA, my spend was a few thousand at that point. I got my offer roughtly 1 year after I made a wish, but I am not a high spender and many got offers fadter than me. I would probably make a wish once I know I clicked with my SA and after a visit where I made at least a $1-2K purchase.

Thank you for your insight! I am already connected with an SA via a high profile customer and plan on buying 2 items totalling around 2k on the first visit.
