Does anyone know if it would be appropriate to send your SA an edible gift (to be shared with all the staff)? I don't want to get my SA in trouble, but would love to send an appreciation/holiday gift. I live far from the city, so would just be looking to have it delivered to the store. Has anyone done this before in Toronto?
My previous sa said no. I did gift my sa something i made with the sm approval and that was ok. Before you consider doing it I would suggest chatting with your sa if they can accept it.

They used to allow edible gifts for all staff to enjoy. There are now discreet signs saying no gifts. I wouldn’t unless you confirm with the store director.

Definitely no edible gifts. I tried bringing in chocolate last year and got rejected. I think you can probably try a christmas card and may be slip a gift card in there?
They can't accept gift cards. You'd be putting your SAs job at risk. She's required to report any such gift and give it back which I imagine would be terribly awkward. Just shop, folks. Thats all your SA wants from you.

My SA said shareable food is fine, but that is the only thing allowed. I’m not sure if this applies to the Christmas season though as I also saw those signs this week.

The other day, I thought I saw a banner on the H website about their holiday return policy, but now I don't see it anymore. Has anyone spoken to their Hermes SA at the Toronto store about this? Any idea what the holiday return policy is? Thanks!
