If you don't mind me asking, how much did your spend ratio for a QB go up from year 1 to year 6? Also, just curious - do you feel you now have better offers vs at the beginning of your journey with H?
I have better offers , but I have the added stress of being invited to events, which always comes with the stress to spend . I can it go to a rtw event and buy a t shirt .
Orans and belts used to be the purchases I would make before , now they are the add on.
My first offer I got a bag with no or spend , now I’m at 5:1 , I am sure I can spend less , but somehow , I have been upgraded in her mind as a major customer that spends .

I agree with this 💯. The expectation to spend more and frequently esp in higher value categories feels like it never ends even after many years as a loyal client and high spend. For a time new clients were also highly prioritized over old clients. I think it’s driven by management. The staff is lovely in Toronto but they have significant sales goals to meet.
The expectation is the problem, as you say , it never ends and they put so much pressure and churn out more and more events.
i basically do not believe long standing clients have it easy, they might boil some strings to have any items available but they do not slow down on my spending .

Hmmm... I'm guessing you're in H Vancouver, if not, perhaps H Mtl... H Van is a lot like H TO, where Toronto more and more clients regularly spend a lot than before to get bags
I am in Montreal , H Canada is tough for most clients. Maybe I am the one that never put limits , but I don’t think I would have gotten bag offers ; they did prioritize new clients and my S.A. would tell me they many long standing clients would not be getting bags some years because they wanted to offer a QB to clients who had none… which is silly to me. Since when does Hermes actually care about fairness and equality?

I am so sad to read about your experience. I have heard it is harder /requires more pre-spend to get consecutive offers, 5:1 sounds like a lot. I hope you are getting an SO Picnic Kelly or something similar with this spend....

I wonder if there is a way to skip some of the events with a legitimate excuse like a vacation or something. I mean as long as you really wanted the pieces you bought and these were within your budget, it should be fine, but I sense from the above it is not really the case for you.

Here is the customer who buys an RTW T-shirt and a pair of Chypre aiming for a bag. I hope my SA does not view me as a waste of time as I am not likely to be able to buy a sofa in a few years lol.

My SA said the same thing to me earlier this year. They're trying to give a chance to those without any QB/SE/LE, and that it will be hard to get another for me. But then a month later, she asked me what QB I wanted LMAO... I was like huh, but didn't you just tell me no the last visit? 😂

Does anyone know if we can special order a herbag? If so, is it consider part of the SO offers like B/K or is it separate? Has anyone done one before at the Toronto store?
There are "Herbag customization" events which are different than the normal a la carte process, and more like the customized shoe process. I think Toronto had one recently, not sure if its still on going. You can probably ask to be included as its more something they are pushing rather than something that needs to be offered. More details here.

Thank you! Will check with my SA about this :)

If an item is "out of stock" online, does that mean the store won't have it? I was interested in getting this Cabriole perfume (https://www.hermes.com/ca/en/product/cabriole-eau-de-senteur-V108662V0/) and I saw it in the Toronto store about a month ago; however, it is now "out of stock" online. Just wondering if anyone has seen it in our Toronto store recently? Thanks!
website stock has nothing to do with in store stock. Your best bet is to contact your SA and ask if they have it

I purchased it in-store about 3 weeks ago! My SA mentioned then they just received shipment of it after being sold out for a while. Not sure if they still have any but definitely check with your SA as online stock is not an indication of in-store stock

Just to add , I too have been shopping with H for years , going into my 6.
Each year my pre spend seems to increase and my S.A. always tells me
- keep coming
- come often
-we love when you come often

They always want more and more spending and my S.A. expects me to buy more expensive items.

I have gotten bags each year , but with the spending I havre reached , it always felt like I needed to over spend to get my quota bag.
I’m in another Canadian store.
I feel the same way like yours. Have been shopping in Toronto H for many years, they want clients no matter old or new to buy more or more expensive items. This pressure takes out fun of shopping, luckily my SA know I'm not after bags anymore unless a SO.
