Does anyone know how the stock is in Milan, Florence, Venice and Capri? I'll be there in august and am already dreaming about H items, since they're so expensive in Brazil. Also, does anyone please have SA recommendation in these stories? Thank you in advance!

I was at H milan recently, the stock is really low..they only display canvas bags. I do believe they have some at the 'back' though. But they have good scarf collection and some other items like belt, shoes, some houseware etc. the only leather bag that was on display was kelly pochette in croc with diamonds.

So will rope her in to help me score a B35! *I hope* I feel like raiding the back room!
I'm considering Milan or Paris. But Hubby prefer Milan as he can do some business dealing there too....

what if I am not leaving from milan airport? I will be going to paris afterwards... and leaving from paris airport?
You should get your papers stamped by the customs at the last port..so if you going from Italy to France, and flying back home from France, then do it there
Vat in Italy is 12%, but purchases must be above 175euro. One of the stores I shopped gave vat return of 12.5%, can't remember if it was H or others.
IMO its very hard to score a B/K in Milan even if you are going there with a Italian friend unless she is a VIP customer. You can place an order with your Italian friend, but that all depends on the store. They might take your order or might say list if closed. And if you place an order, and when the bag is ready, you will not get vat back. This is because the bag was for 'your friend' who is a local..kwim?

i had always wondered; if you are traveling out of milan to the united states (or outside EU) and have a connection flight in paris (layover of about 2 hours) will customs stamp your forms in milan or will they tell you to get them stamped in paris before you leave EU?
i am planning a trip to Europe and i want to insure there will be enough time to get my VAT forms stamped if I do have a connection flight through an EU country.
In this case will be Milan though you will transit in Paris. All the papers must be stamped by the custom before check in. In some countries/cities, the custom would like to see the items specifically!! This is a common practice in Germany for example. But in Milan and Paris Orly, the customs just stamped the papers without asking where the items are.
So important to know that don't check in yet until the customs have stamped and seen the items (if they want to).
