Hello all, I know this is a crazy question, but has anyone ever tried to just go into the melbourne store and ask if they can order a custom made Birkin? or just if there is any available? I don't want to sound bold or look silly in the store. I will be going over to Melbourne for a short family trip and I'm tempting to just stop by. Will you guys be able to give me some suggestion on how to successfully win the attention of the Sales rep to help me?

About two years ago I went into the Melbourne store and asked if I could put my name down for a Birkin. They did advise it was a wait of a couple of years, but none the less they took my request. I kept I touch with them over the years via email and visited the store when I was in Melbourne. In April this year I received my Birkin. No previous purchases with the store. It may seem bold, but there is no harm in asking!

Walk in and start talking to them? It's a tiny store and rarely even seen anyone else in he store when I'm in there.
