Could I please trouble the H Melbourne regulars for a novice question? How do you *start* a relationship with an SA when you're new to a store?

I'm asking because the first time I went to the H store, I called ahead to ask if there was a Lindy in stock, and spoke to Michael who told me there was a 34. I went into the store 30 mins later, but it was quite busy so I just headed upstairs to the bag section. A SA, Mayumi (?), showed me the bag and took down my details since I wanted a 30 instead. She told me to check the website and they would call if what I want comes in. Then, I went downstairs to look at scarves and was helped by the SA at the scarf counter.

The second time I went in, I was greeted by Pam, who was very nice and helped me with a scarf rings and ties in the ground floor. I told her I would go for the browse and went upstairs. She remained downstairs. It was crowded upstairs so I didn't ask anyone for help, just went downstairs to pay and had a nice chat with Pam, just general stuff, nothing about H.

I found that of the three SAs who have helped me in person, Pam was the friendliest, so I'm inclined to ask her for help next time I come in. However, I don't want to piss Mayumi off as I left my details with her about the bag? Is there a "hierarchy" at H where the more senior SA is more influential in "reserving" bags for her clients? What should I do? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Did you buy anything from one of them? I guess the relationship begins after you buy something and just continue to ask from her.

I came in today and was helped by another SA, Oliver, because I couldn't find Pam or Mayumi. I bought something everytime (a scarf, a scarf ring, a tie, a wallet) but I didn't buy anything from Mayumi (the girl who took down my details). My receipts do not have anyone's name on them...

There is a Lindy 34 Orange and two Garden Party (sorry I'm not sure of the colours, but it's dark purple and dark blue) in store. They've got a shipment today so there may be other goodies around!
