Hello Tashza, as far as I know, the opening of the shop is still on December 15. There was no mention of the change in the date.

Regarding the exchange policy, am sorry but am not that familiar with H Stores yet. Usually if you have the receipt and the original packaging of the item, they can exchange it for you. That's what LV does also to items bought from abroad if you want to exchange for something else. ;)

A lot of events going on, not only the opening of the H Store but Christmas Festivities as well!

Hello Crazyme! Of course there are a lot of VIP clients already for the H store! Usually the VIP clients of the other premier brands that are being sold in Rustan's and Greenbelt 4 & 5 are the first ones on the list. That is if they want to buy the ever famous and coveeted bag; The Birkin! (hehehehehe)

There is already a very long list for the Birkin bag here in Manila for the opening of the H Store.

I wonder who are those chosen few? (hehehe) :graucho:

i will be getting a birkin for myself and thinking wether i should just buy from trusted resellers or should i try my luck ordering one since we will be having Hermes store here in manila.

prices of resellers are even higher than the actual price of a birkin when you buy it from the store right?

:crybaby:Yup yup! Unfortunately resellers are more expensive. If you buy it for example at the H Store in Paris, you can save as much as 100K to 150K Pesos for a Birkin.

But if you calculate the cost of the trip and the bag, it will add up the same! (hehehe) :p

There's no harm in trying sis! You might end up getting lucky!

Prices, according to some sources will start from 500K up.

eeps.. 500k +. oh well cheaper than flying to HK and getting shoddy service from the SAs and walking out without a Birkin. Here in manila i'm sure the SAs will rival that of Japan! ... without a birkin costing as much (?)

super idea LadyRider... of course we intend to stop by the new Hermes Boutique there...will PM when plans are solidified. We leave Dec 20th and arrive the 22nd...spend X-mas then jump on to Vietnam...hopefully lunch with you business holiday schedule!

Thank you very much for the input. im thinking twice in buying from the soon to open H store in manila because of the mark up of the price. is it quite sure that SSI will have a steep mark up? (hoping they don't)

i just found a good deal from a trusted reseller but i am quite hesitant because i want to buy from the boutique itself (in manila). but if i hold too long, i might not get this kind of good deal anymore and might be disappointed with the Hermes "manila price." what do you guys think?

If it's a really good deal then just buy it. then with the money saved, you can walk in with your new bag then get something else in the H store.

As for me, i'm still waiting til they open so i can compare prices with the stores abroad.
