I had put in an order for a few Balcon du Guadalquivir items a year ago and was informed this week some of those were being discontinued. A full year of waiting with a deposit and just like that it’s getting cancelled…

I’m really frustrated they won’t honor an order taken when the items were still in production, makes no sense. I especially had one piece I was really missing to complete my set, the salad bowl, which never shows up preloved either 😭

This Hermès way of never letting customers know anything in advance is once again extremely disappointing.

I just saw a salad bowl listed at Neiman Marcus.

I am hoping I can get feedback on Hermès teapots.
Do they leak while serving? That's something that really bothers me with most teapots.
Is there a built-in filter inside? Would you mind sharing photos?

Mine does not leak, I have the Soleil teapot. I would have returned if that were the case, they're too expensive to fail at a very basic requirement.
There's a fine sieve filter on the inside (pardon the mess, I just used my teapot and haven't got around to cleaning it up yet)

Mine will leak when pouring if I fill it with water past the spout opening. I did purchase a drip stopper to put on the spout but it doesn't fit perfectly so it slowly slides off 😅

Anyone know what the deal is with back-ordered porcelain? Been waiting on a carnets piece that was ordered over 18 months ago by boutique- confirmed it was ordered but still no sign of it!

Here's my table setting with (abet limited) pieces of Passifolia. I would love to get the No. 2 dessert plate to go with the No. 1 pictured, but my country only sells these in groups of 2 so that's a non-starter. Since I was able to buy No. 1 plate at some point in the past, I will just have to wait until hopefully H will sell singles - but who knows. Right now to buy a single on Evil Bay is almost as much as buying 2 from the boutique.
Added bonus with another Hermes tie-in: if the design of the table linens look familiar that's because they are by the Ardmore Artists (designers of such popular H-scarfs as March du Zambezie, Savanna Dance, Flowers of South Africa, & Boabab Cat). The table linens are gorgeously designed & printed in Italy & very well made.

Bumping an old inquiry in case someone else finds it useful. I have an H deco teapot.
It leaks. It did not come with a metal filter. When I put my aftermarket metal filter in, the lid won’t close.
It looks nice, but I almost never use it
