Hermes Home ware Recommendations

Certain things from passafolia may fit in your house but I don't know if it would be too "tropical". For some reason I had visualized your house as more organic and rustic. The Tie collection also seems kind of low key and casual if thats the vibe you're going for. They also seem to have a lot of colors so maybe you can find a color that fits your decor. Carnets d'equator also has a nice organic color palette with some beautiful illustrations for interest.

I also highly recommend their crystalware. They're beautiful. Ornate but also quite modern. I love.

Is this saddle box made of the same material as the orange one above posted by ChatGPT? This looks different and is really cute! Also, glad you mentioned the lamp comes in light oak. That's pretty much the flooring we chose for the entire house to give the country home vibe throughout. Would love it if I can match some pieces here and there.
Its not the same. The ones I posted are made from hard cardboard while that one is made from aluminum with a wooden lid and costs 5x more.

Ahhh love the Bouchon stool! I’ve been eyeing that… do you put something on top to protect the leather if using as a side table? I have a leather sideboard and I had a glass top made for it since we use it as a server… would you recommend doing that for the bouchon? And the satellite table! I’ll have to ask my SA how long the wait is in the US. I was thinking about getting 2 Metiers chairs and a small satellite table for a nook in my office, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Glad to hear you love the table!
I don't own the Bouchon but seriously considered it (decided no because it was for a beach house and wouldn't wear well). I would probably stick with coasters instead of glassing it, but it all depends on the traffic in your house...if you have kids definitely glass

The Satellites are gorgeous solo or in combo (I have two, small and medium). I actually like them better than the Metier tables which are much more expensive. Funnily enough I was thinking about putting mine in the office - definitely a power table :) The stone is really beautiful, and honestly the price is not at all bad vis a vis similar tables from other designers.

The mosaique line is really nice! I might be the opposite and might go with the passifolia due to the colours that will go well with the warm vibe in the home are the plates microwaveable at all?
NO, NOT the Passifolia because they have gold painted rims. Metal & microwaves are a bad combination - having accidentally microwaved a cheap china mug from a conference that had a gold rim, I can attest that the metal rim makes a pretty spectacular ring of sparks on microwaving....that said, I have the coffee mug and use it daily for my cuppa joe - but wash it by hand. I love the pattern because of the orchids - but as noted in another post the pattern is pretty "busy" and can certainly compete with any food served on it.

Thank you for this! And now I'm tempted to checkout Marie Daag and Herring Berlin haha. I have never checked the glassware from hermes so this is a great suggestion. I actually have a spot in the kitchen for displays so my idea was to fill it with pieces that can be used or displayed. Would love to feast my eyes on certain corners of the home and see something delightful haha

partially I got tired of waiting for my h deco to come in. And partially bc machine washable as I’m lazy. My H SA said, don’t worry when I cancelled bc H deco basically sells itself

I’m looking forward to seeing what goodies you end up buying for your new dream home

For the home and color scheme you describe @7th House , I don't think you can go wrong with some of the simple leather furniture (like the Pippa line), which almost all come in a lovely natural leather color.
I like the Bouchon stool more than using the saddle box for a table (plus the saddle box does kinda scream Hermes lol), but it's definitely more expensive  Concur that the St-Louis lanterns are lovely. H lighting overall is beautiful and under the radar.

I have the Satellite coffee tables and they are gorgeous, but as far as I know they are out of stock and over a year wait. That's France though, there may be some in the US.

For blankets, and this is JMHO, the Avalon is really played out. Way overused. I like the saddle blankets, and they are much more robust. Also, some of the double-faced cashmere scarves are gorgeous, are big enough to use on furniture, are about the same price as the Avalon AND you can wear them! I have a camel/orange one on my sofa.

I have the Passifolia tea set and some other pieces, but I have a green kitchen and the design works. With the china, it's all about a design you fall in love with. You might want to Google Gwyneth Paltrow's kitchen and how she displays her H china. It is more than a bit ostentatious ;) but it does look very pretty, and could work in your extended kitchen.
I'll definitely checkout your suggestions. The ultimate goal here, really us for my husband to not recognise the items are hermes lolol

I love the Avolon blankets. Very warm and used all winter in our draft cold house. They resist pulls even when the cat sits on them and do seem to be resistant to pulls. Hermes do similar in other designs if you prefer something more discrete.
I'll checkout the other designs they've got for sure! I do need cozy blankets because when it gets cold in the new area, bec it's close to the mountains, it gets freezing. We drove up once early morning and it even turns foggy. Summer gets really hot here too but we have more cold months than hot.

I have the folia lamp and I love it. My sa was able to snag it for me. I've seen them in the San Fran store.

I really like the different China patterns. Balcon and soleil is nice for every day. I personally love the Cheval d'orient line too.

I have one of the cashmere dip dye blankets. It's so warm and soft. My husband doesn't like the Avalon as much bc it is more scratchy.
I'll check out those designs as well! So hard to decide as they all seem really gorgeous haha

Oh my. Glad to hear about this. If I don't use the frother, I microwave the cup after adding cold milk! Wouldn't want to ruin the cup!

My husband does the dishes so he'd be dancing if he finds out the dishes are microwavable and dishwasher safe haha! Thank you. We're really excited about this home. It took us years of saving and planning and we're fortunate that we found the land just in time and we're building a home that we really want, layout and all. Hubby gets his dream theatre room and I get a massive space to fill with decorations that I've always wanted. ❤️

Here's a sneak peak of the colours I have for the living room. I'm still looking for a better lamp but the idea is to find one that can make the living room moody. The saddle box in orange would work well prolly beside the eames chair? But I need to figure out what to put on top of it so it really feels like a side table.

I cannot find the post from someone here that said our colours are rustic. I have to agree. Thinking about it now, the passafolia design might not work well the greens will be added as I'm looking for some oversized indoor plants as well. The couches will be oversized too, to fill up the space.

Also, has anyone bought the bath towels? I remember seeing them before on the website. They have the lovely H embossed all over and they had it in blue, orange, white and bright pink. If you have them, are they soft to use or am I better getting it from somewhere else?

I have a TON of them, bath as well as beach towels, and funnily enough I didn't buy them (and wouldn't). They came with our beach house (the sellers were huge H addicts haha). Personally I would not pay that price for towels....they are very nice but Restoration Hardware towels are just as nice or possibly nicer

Unrelated and not to veer OT but others have referenced other brands. I find Liaigre to be a nice place for an Hermes-type furnishings and decor vibe.
