4.712% i believe in Hawaii.

thanks mecafe ;)

Sales tax in Hawaii is relatively low. If I recall, it was somewhere around 4.7% on Oahu. Definitely less that 5%. Happy hunting!!

Thank you AlliJoy! I'll keep you posted on my hunt! I am going to Hawaii next week and will arrive there in Monday. Please wish me luck! :)

I just got home from Hawaii today.

Currently the stock is very very very very low.I have never seen like that before.
No birkins or no Kellys.I was asked to buy some dogon wallets but I could not find. All 3 boutiques

I had nothing to buy so I purchased only steeple? tote bag(New cavanas tote with horse printed on) and some shawls.Thats all.
SA said last few months, their stock is very very low.

Ouwhh :( So sad to hear that. I hope I'll be lucky enough to score a Birkin / Kelly... *finger crossed*...

I've been to both stores in the past two weeks and thought their leather handbag inventory looked low. Ala Moana had a lot of canvas/leather totes. There is also a small Hermes boutique in the Duty Free Shops in Waikiki but you have to have a ticket to a foreign country to purchase there. The sales associates in the stores are very nice.

The one in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping center in Waikiki has more stock. It is relatively a short distance between that and the Ala Moana branch so it would be better if you can check out both.
