No SAs would approach me. When I finally went up to one to help me she said my items (home items and shoes) were out of stock and best to order online when it’s available. She said she couldn’t check the Waikiki location either.

that’s so strange. When I went I was immediately paired up with an SA upon entering the store. Is there no longer a line to go inside? I thought bc of COVID they’re managing the number of in store visitors so everyone has to wait outside first.

Yes, there was no line and I was not “assigned”

Were they all busy? Perhaps they thought you were working with someone. When I went recently, there was still a line and I was assigned an SA. Very nice and friendly, helped me with my purchases but when I asked if she could check what other colors the Waikiki store had of something I was looking for that they did not, she said no and that I would just have to go check for myself.

Walked into Waikiki all nervous and not expecting much since we are here for less than 48 hours, but walked out with these two bags that I had never even gotten to see before IRL. SA was super friendly and now I want to move to Hawaii. Or, at the very least, come back to visit soon ! (once the island is feeling better with pandemic).1923 Bolide 25 in noir Epsom and mini 24 24 in Gris Perle, Evercolor/Swift
Congratulations! They're beautiful! Can you share your SA's contact info? I'll be going to Honolulu in 10 days and would like to get a few items from H, hopefully a bag too. Thanks so much!

Today’s the best day! Walked in yesterday and bought a couple of items, angel SA told me to tell her the quota bags I want & see what she can do in the 2 weeks I’m in Hawaii. The literal next day I got a call, and I walked out with 28 Kelly Black&Gold Epsom Leather! Love everything I bought in Hawaii, and Ala Mona>>>>Waikiki. thanks for everyone who helped me!

Oh wow congratulations! Such a beautiful piece for sure.

Did you use your existing profile or did you open a different one? I am planning to visit next month and I'm clueless how I should go about it because it will be my first time shopping outside of my home store and I've read conflicting advice on whether or not to use existing account. Also, do you mind sharing who your SA in the Ala Moana store is please?

when i went to Waikiki the SA said to just use the same profile. So yeah that's conflicting. But I only have two transactions with my local store before that. Perhaps it would've been different if I had a long history with my local store. She mentioned as if my two transactions with my local boutique actually helped me getting offered a C at Waikiki. *shrug*

Thanks for sharing that information, I really appreciate it.

I have more than 2 transactions in my profile so I wonder if I should use it in HI or open a different one under my DH. Haha so confused RN.

Although I did not get a quota bag in Waikiki, (was only there 2 days and SA was not working the 2nd day, so it seemed clear there was no chance), we did have a theoretical chat about looking for a B30, and SA knew I had a reg SA on mainland, and it didn't seem to be a deal breaker (she told me to come back again for a longer visit) Not sure if she was just being friendly about it, but it was an optimistic conversation. (which worked because now I really want to go back!) Perhaps they adjust according to the supply/demand situation?

Interesting. I'm assuming you used your own account when you shopped at Waikiki? Maybe they do adjust according to supply and demand but glad to know that theoretically some SAs are okay with offering quota bags to clients who have a different home store.
