In case you weren't aware, they aren't moving out of the mall. It's still at the same mall, not too far way from current spot.

Both Hs in Honolulu are great. SAs are friendly and they are always very well stocked. You have to spend some $$ but they always, and I do mean always have the coveted bags. I got a Constance and sis got a Birkin from Waikiki couple weeks ago. Perhaps I was just lucky but they always had Rodeos at either store as well. They offered one again this time but I already got the exact color and size from my local store, so I passed.

Can I ask how much extra $$$ are we talking about in order to purchase a Constanct/Kelly/Birkin?
Which store do you recommend for a better chance?

I would like to share my experience with H Hawaii. I was only staying at Oahu for 4 nights, and was looking for a Constance 24 or Elan for my friend (just bought a medor myself so I'm on ban island hehe).

My friend isn't picky about the color for leather Constance, but wants a dark blue or black for exotic. I walked into Waikiki the first night (Friday) and asked, the SA said none in stock but took down my name, number and requests and said maybe a shipment will come in on my last day (Monday).

After leaving for 20 min, I get a call from the SA saying an orange poppy alligator 24 came in. I declined due to the color. However after a quick chat with my friend, she wants me to go see it and ask about price, so I went back and suddenly the SA pulls out a baby blue alligator 24. I was surprised that they have so much inventory, and suspect maybe she pulled my file before offering the bags. I declined the blue as well and told her to please call me if anything else comes in. She said she isn't working Monday but her co worker will call me.

The next day I went to ala manoa H and was told no inventory but they will call me as well.

My flight on Monday is at 11pm and and I didn't receive any call all day. But suddenly at 6:45pm I get a call from H Waikiki that a Epsom blue glacier 24 came in!! The new SA said there is someone at the store right now who is interested but if I'm on my way, she will hold for me. I get there and quickly snap a pic to my friend and the bag is sold!!

I must say my friend got very lucky, and it also seems that they do not ask for min dollar purchase on Constance bags, just b and k. Hope this helps anyone who is hoping to score one there![/

OMG. I really want to get a constance too..do you remember how much was it?

I just came back from Waikiki and scored a bunch of good things. I wasted a Birkin but none cale in during my 5 days there. But I was able to score a beautiful Kelly 32 Blk Epsom GHW, RC Kelly Pochette, and Etain TPM Evelyne.. All were on my list except for the Kelly. I loved my SA there!! [emoji259]
do you remember the name of the SA? @ Ala moana??

Wow nanamiryu, thanks and congrats! Did they ask you your color preferences? Or were you happy to take any color? I'm saying this because I have pretty specific color ranges in mind...

I think another member said the SM wants $5000 not too long ago in this thread. Someone sis knows asked about a Birkin at Beverly Hills store and was told $7000, so not that bad. And I don't have to spend as much now as I'm sort of regular. Like all Hs they like return customers. Constances, I was offered and seen others being shown as walk ins before. That would depend on the stock I guess.

Both stores are nice but I mainly buy from Waikiki location as I usually stay at Royal Hawaiian and it's only few minute of walk. They really prefer not having purchase records from other US stores btw. So if you had some luck in a place, stick with either one of them.

In a way, it's a lot like FSH. They would ask what you want and I guess try to match that. Which color do you have in mind? I think they also had etain but eh, didn't even bother to ask more as I don't like anything neutral.

I am after reds, pinks and purple C in general. If it has to be neutral then I'd pick an exotic neutral.

I'd just be direct about it and ask for what you want. They won't be so tough about selling a C. My last one is a rose jaipur and the member who wrote about her purchase on the last page got the same from Ala Moana. The color choices for HI in general for all bags are in brighter fun colors, perhaps due to tropical location. Both locations usually have lot more to choose from than most US stores.

Thanks! Would it make a difference whether I wear H items or not? I will likely be carrying my Kelly or Lindy in ostrich. So I wonder if that lowers my chances... Plus I do not have a US phone number in case something came in later....

Hawaii stores really seem to care about not having purchase history at other US stores. So I think it would be even better you aren't based in US. US stores generally don't care how you dress as long as you have money to pay. And if anything, they would compliment your lovely bag and think you are a regular H shopper.

As long as your phone works in US, it should be fine. If for whatever else problem, I'd just keep calling or visit to check myself. They usually have more staff than the number of the customers and as I said before all of them are quite friendly and nice.

My experience at ala moana has been that they seem to care if you are a us mainland customer. However, I have bought scarves there. The Waikiki royal Hawaiian store, they just seem to like to sell stuff! I always tell them that I come to Hawaii about twice a year. Last visit I had on a tshirt, shorts and sandals. Think I had an enamel bangle on, but no other H.
Good luck!

Thanks nanamiryu!

Actually... can someone help give me some general idea about the two boutiques in Ala Moana and the Royal Hawaiian Centre? For example, which store is bigger? Which one has better customer service? Which store has more stock in terms of small leather goods and bags like lindys? Also which store tends to have better stock for the more coveted items (more like likely to offer to walk in) like B/K/C? I might not get a chance to visit both, so knowing some of the basics would really help me decide on which store to visit. Thanks a million guys!
