I did say that ideally I was searching for a Birkin in either 30 or 35, and when she asked if I had a color preference I said that although I love all colors, I preferred a neutral. Then she asked about hardware and I told her either gold or palladium was fine, because honestly, I do love them both. I think Hermes does a good job of pairing leathers with hardware, typically. So, anyway, that's how that went.

Yes, I was a walk in, but I didn't lead with, "do you have any Birkins?" LOL

I went in, looked at some new color Garden Party totes, then mentioned having one already. Then, I got a scarf and the SA noticed my Dogon wallet. I think they may have assumed I love Hermès products (which would be right!)

The SA then asked what kind of bag I was looking for (color, size, hardware) and she said they were expecting a shipment and that if there was anything she would call me.

A short while later she did and the rest, as they say, is history!

Today as I went in to purchase my belt kit I was offered a blue croc Kelly clutch but it was too small for me. Price was cheap but not my style. Hope someone purchases it soon. Still waiting for my etoupe birkin though.

It was like a dark blue crocodile Kelly clutch pochette for $13,500. It was beautiful but I am waiting for a birkin 35 or a Kelly.

Me too! I only havea 35 cm black Togo with ghw and a 35 cm rouge casaque Togo with ghw birkins. I just need an etoupe or etain color and then I'm complete on my birkin collection.
