May I ask how long you’ve been with your SA for? I would love an hss too but am kind of new with my SA and heard being a long term client is what matters the most.
Since July. I am not going to spend over $3000 just to buy an Hermes watch just to get an HSS because I don’t fancy any of the H watches. If that means I don’t get a bag or HSS then so be it.

Did u buy the watch on the same day as the watch event or after? And was the qb offered to you the same day that u bought the watch?
I got the watch at the event but I think you should just buy what you like. I have been eyeing that watch so I was happy they had it at the watch event, as stock has been low everywhere. The bag was offered to me before the watch event.

Just left Waikiki. I appreciate that they are the flagship store in Hawaii which would get more items than a regular Hermes store and that the Waikiki location can ship items to the mainland if they have it in. You don't get the Hawaii sales tax but it's nice that this service is available at a flagship store. Hermes Beverly hills, another flagship store, does not offer shipping services :/

Purchased an automatic watch, scarf and two mosaique small trays which have been impossible to get at my local Hermes or online. Not aggressively looking for a quota bag, so I can't say I'll be back next year but I think Waikiki will definitely be a vacation spot in the future.

For those who eventually got a quota bag and are not local, did you find that accepting a non quota bag resets your spending? I have limited times I can travel there and am saving up a lot, enough for a quota bag but also have non quota bag wishlist. I don’t want to spend another 2:1 or 3:1 say and be offered only a non quota bag. But if I know theres a chance for BK then I’ll spend the 2-3:1. If I know there is no chance as a non local (2nd visit is not enough to be considered a regular client) then I’ll only spend enough for the non quota bag. How to approach this? I do feel comfortable enough to just ask the sa but it’s still awkward to be so blunt. For context I spent 1:1 on first visit and was offered a non quota bag which I accepted. The remaining non quota bags on my wishlist, a lot of them would be considered no-prespend required and I don’t want to spend 2-3:1 to be offered just one of those you know what I mean. Also want to add I do plan on establishing a long term thing here, just not sure how much to spend at each visit.

Nothing's going to "reset" if you buy a non quota bag. Just buy what you like, when it's there.

Don’t overthink this. Just let your SA know what you want most (the Qb) and buy what you like. :)

ETA: In other words, don’t spend just to spend. It may take a few more visits, but slow and steady is better for the relationship and the budget
