Question - if I bought shoes in hawaii but now find that they are a little small. Would I be able to exchange or return with the SA I bought with? Or should I just go to my local store? If I go to the local store, should I tell the original SA I bought from or just hope he overlooks it (I'm trying to maintain the relationship with him)? Also if I do a return, would I get a refund or just store credit?

In looking at my receipts, I am reading that you can exchange or receive store credit within 30 days of your purchase.

I would return with the SA you originally purchased with. That way you are maintaining your relationship by communicating to them that the shoes were too small and the SA can help you find your correct size.

So would he just send me a shipping label for the shoes I have? If I ask for a return, is there a tactful reason/way to ask for that? It was a bit of an impulse purchase and I kind of don't want them anymore. I've been debating if I should just sell somewhere instead and take the loss since I heard returns look bad (these Hermes games are tiring...). I'm not after a quota bag though, just want an SA I can buy stuff from and maybe get non-quota bags.

I would just return it, you will just get store credit. I dont mind as im sure ill use it in the very near future on something else. No sense take a loss or hassle with selling. I would just reach out to the SA and ask whats the best way to go about returning it.

Yes, I think you're right. I am leaning towards just asking for a return as well. I'm going to try on my friends pair a little later today which are a little bigger and see how much I like it. Then decide to either return or exchange. I have a few other items I'm eyeing so I'll probably use the credit anyway. Thanks!

I would return, as well. That way you’ll get the full credit to buy what you like. If your intent is to maintain a relationship, tell your SA and let them know your situation. They will let you know the best option.

Good luck!

I went to the Waikiki store today. Line was not that long. The sales that helped me was terrible. I would say she’s a slight step up from the Vienna store. I guess if you want to get a bag and start the list, you may want to dress the part and be ready to spend $$$. Based on my experience, this sa was kind of judgy of appearance. And I was just wanting to browse and see if anything would catch my eye. I started off at the Twillies and asked for some suggestions, but she was not engaging at all. She didn’t even bother to show me all the trays. Then I went to the shoes and she ended up talking to her friend. So I just left without buying anything. I wasn’t gonna give me business to her.
