We can agree to share our experiences with gaining an appointment at Hermes
but at the end of the day, being oneself with no pretense seems right to me, JMO
FYI, your smart strategy would not be successful if you were in Paris
be it at The Ritz, George V, The Peninsula as concierges are not encouraged to make appointments
as it is strictly done by the lottery system

I always assumed that the rest of Europe including Italy would follow France/FSH with respect to hotel appt policy. (since NY even had to get FSH approval to do an alteration on a leather jacket last year, this seemed likely). As per a senior SA at FSH who was filling in for my regular FSH SA, and who offered me a B25 and a rainbow bolide this past Spring, hotel appts have not been accepted by FSH since around April 2022. This was also confirmed by a Golden Key concierge at the Bulgari Hotel, formerly of the Bristol. Prior to April 2022, FSH used to accept 4 vetted hotel appts a day.
This information is in line with most on the FSH thread and with @Love Of My Life. However, I am also sure that there are VIP exceptions about which I am totally ignorant; and, I am very curious about such an experience in Florence and in Paris. IMO, a person who flew in to accept a K25 (link provided by post #109 above) and who has also been offered multiple mini kelly bags in the course of a few months has an experience that most of us can only dream of. JMO and YMMV

Was in Italy last week and visited the Florence boutique and wanted to share the experience. There was a short line but it was a quick wait to get inside and then another 30 minutes before an SA was able to help us. I was looking for a Twilly and wanted to try on some of the bracelets. The SA showed us various options they had and I ultimately ended up buying a Twilly but passing on the bracelet as they didn't have my size/style.
She also showed me a large Bride-a-Brac in a dark/navy blue, but unfortunately, they had just sold their last small model, so I passed on this as well.
Asked if there were any Lindy or Evelyn's available, and it was an immediate no. But she did let me try on the Lindy 26 on display.
Overall, a pleasant experience with the SA, but felt that there wasn't much stock available.

Was ecstatic with my visit to the Florence store last night. I went late in the day (past 5pm) and had a bit of a wait. I was looking for a pair of black sandals to wear to a wedding tonight but apparently Florence never got these shoes (bought them in another color in Paris). Anyway stock was limited on all other items I asked for and none in the specifics I resisted. However I struck gold with a card holder I’d requested in etoupe or gold (neither available) but the nice SA brought one out in Blue Jean and I fell in love. I was also then offered an adorable Garden Party which I could not resist. I wasn’t expecting much considering it was late in the day but walked out a very happy client.
