Hermes fans in Abu Dhabi & Dubai

I've been to both hermes stores in Dubai (Burjuman and the Dubai mall) and have only met the nicest SA's. I don't know their names though sorry!

My sister is travelling via Dubai shortly and I wondered what the prices are for 90cm and 70cm scarves in the airport and in the city. If the prices are more favourable than the UK then I will have to give my sister a shopping list!
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If she is flying through T3 at Heathrow ask her to shop there. The taxfree price of the 90X90 is £195 if I remember correctly. The UK is in general one of the best places to buy H.

Thank you ladyhermes I don't think any of her flights are via Heathrow
I will have to give her the UK prices and then she can see if Dubai is any less.

I was in T3 in LHR recently, very disappointed with the scarf selection, really very little there. Maybe they were all sold out because the price is so good!

Hi - delighted to have discovered this forum. I bought my first Hermes twill scarf in 1997 and have been collecting ever since - quite often recently I wear them everyday!

Perpelxed there is still no Hermes shop in Abu Dhabi, yet we have a Hermes helicopter:

I saw the Hermes helicopter in the air loads of times in Abu Dhabi!!

Sindy, there is a small Hermes in Terminal 3 of Dubai airport but it only stocks ties and silks and some canvas beach type bags. There may have been some jewellery (didn't look) but there are definitely no leather bags or SLGs.

Welcome to Dubai! Hermes stores are in Dubai Mall and Burjuman. The availability depends on how lucky you are.

I decided to google & located Hermes stores in Dubai. Contacted the store & spoke to a wonderful SA there. She's willing to reserve 'the bag' even though I'm yet to confirm my trip next mth. She did ask whether I'm new to Hermes & I said yes. I've been looking for this bag since my last transit in Changi airport last March. A lady traveller left it at the counter while looking at other stuff. I only managed to identify it back in TPF. Since then, every other bags are forgotten as I've been busy reading everything abt HERMES. Glad to know there are 2 Hermes stores in Dubai & it's also cheaper to get it than S'pore & it may not be available on my next transit in Aug.. I'm just not into travelling to Europe just for it although it's much cheaper with the GST returns.
Keep my fingers cross & I'll be in Dubai soon!!
