The stores in the middle east were somehow franchised by Al Mana group, the contract was limited to 25 years and the store management transfers back to the H Paris head office when the tenure is over.

The glitch that occured in the website was allegedly due to the merger of profiles between France and Dubai.

True ive heard of that, but not all gcc I believe its only the UAE

Very interesting read .I need some advise pls. Iam a resident from dubai and im waiting for my 2nd quota bag for last 2 and half years . Its extremely difficult to get anything from my SA. I waited 3 years to get my first QB and the drama continues . I spend but i know the pre spend limits ,he always push for purchase,and never indicate any pre spend amount but when i reach 50k i slow down my spending and ask for a quota bag , he ignores my request for months and every time i hv to hv serious talk to get a firm answer .iam at 80k prespend now and i hv requested a B25 gold or B30 gold as i dont hv this color also i like a black kelly pochette gold hardware. He said he will get what ever he gets first. My heart says to stick with B25 but i heard kelly pochette is hard to get too. I hv got my first Qb from paris and i hv good profile there too but i always dont manage to get bags/colors i want and never tried really hard . Experience hermes lovers here, can someone guide me which item i should get or reject when he offers ? which is the most difficult one to get as i know my next bag will be in next 2-3 years from dubai with my SA. Thank you

Do not risk it with the resellers, especially in our local market. There are a lot of extremely good fakes out there. A k25 can be around 70ish because it's not wanted in the market a lot. If you will buy from a local reseller, make sure that the receipt is from a local boutique.

So my friend who is a VVVIP at hermes (who also struggles with quota bags) told me today morning that she was informed by her SA that the full handover will be completed in a month or two. Literally had to tell her that he is lyyyyying because my friend was offered an SO from her SA as a gift because he was leaving and they have been together for like 8-9 years.

My current hunt is for a MK - I am aiming for 90k (half way there) and just order it. I know that my SA is capable of just giving this out because she can be difficult. She LITERALLY gave me a cargo picotin (which awanh she claims you need to spend 10-12k) right after my b25 (and I did not buy anything in between). It was only because my sister was buying from her hoping for a picotin but she couldnt directly go to the store to pick it up so when I went alone, she had to put it on my profile.

How is it with you?

With the 80k pre spend I would recommend sticking with the birkin 25 as the kelly pochette pre spend should be less! Unless it’s what you desire at the moment and you wouldn’t mind pre spending that amount for a KP.

I am like 10k short of requesting for a MK- Honestly what helped me get there was my sister buying through my account a Kelly to go (counted as a purchase), a kaftan (the pink brides de gala), couple of expensive heels.. now that I am thinking about it, idk how I reached this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

|If it makes you feel any better, I hit over 150 and I had requested a K25, feel like I wasted it now :/
