I really love Tulipomanie, but struggle with the cws. I returned the navy because it was very very similar to my La Selle Imaginaire, and I am not very keen on the white hem…

I found the black and white version very modern and decided to give it a try. I think this cw is stunning, but it is very different from what I usually wear and I wonder if I can pull it off with my haircolor…. It does fill a real gap for me in the cashmere department though…

I would love to hear your honest opinions 😊 (I already concerted with a very lovely scarfie who gave me some much appreciated advice 😍).

I think it suits you well. It is not a stark, high contrast, black/combo as it is softened by the gray & background which, in turn, harmonise with your soft colouring. The flow of your hair is reflected in the flowing lines of the petals…. Your hair colour definitely doesn’t ‘fight’ with the scarf at all!

@redheaddem- For some reason(s), I do not love this one on you. You are absolutely beautiful, yourself, of course, but the shade of the ivory and the shade of grays in this one don't work optimally with your skin tone or your hair, in my opinion. I thought, perhaps, that I would like this one quite a bit against black, but you paired it with a black sweater in the last photo, and I don't like it any more against black than against the other colors you wore it against, except for the lighter gray sweater. Maybe it is the scale of the design, too, in this colorway which has so much pale, dare I say, unexciting ivory taking up inventory surrounding the design? Seeing it against black clothing, makes me realize this one would not be for me, either. I am a "winter" who wears a lot of black and white. I think this particular shawl would look best paired with an ivory or anthracite colored sweater, dress, or suit which is quite limiting, and rather surprising, considering this one is a colorway having great contrast.

It is pretty, but IMO lacks the wow effect of the navy CW. I don't particularly like it paired with colors other than black, and something is almost missing in here - and it is hard to pin point. Too much white? Not enough contrast? I don't know... Maybe other will have different opinions? I think you would look superb in red (but I know that you have a 90 in red))

I'm not a fan of this colorway on you. I think it looks best on the gray top, but on the others it seems like the scarf is covering up the pretty sweater. I'm struggling with the Tulipomanie colorways for the giant triangle as well. It might sadly be a pass for me. We'll see.

Personally I love it on you. I think the graphic pattern may require a bolder lip though.
That said, there's the old adage, if you have to ask... then you don't love it enough to keep it.

I think it’s a meh. It’s a lot of grey. The grey doesn’t do much to enhance your lovely colouring.

Personally, I really love it. I find it not only modern but also elegant. This season, we have several options in black and white, such as Sous le Charme d'Orphée, Effet Kaléidoscope, and of course, yours (thank you for modeling it!). It pairs beautifully with the black sweater. I would likely choose the one with the most crisp, white, or off-white combination with the black. I still don’t know which one I’m going to pick, but I definitely want one in black and white too.

I stopped by the Stockholm store today, hoping for new and different inventory. They did have Roaaaaar in orange/gold. It is such a gorgeous image, but I look terrible in orange and the golden locks make my (expensively) blonde hair look awful. The boyfriend tried it and was tempted, but the gold did the same to his (natural) blond/gray hair, and there wasn’t enough of the orange (that really suits him!) for the price.

The SA did show us several images; the b/w lion with bright blue background is probably my target. The scarf all in mid blue shades is wonderful but very close visually to my Awooooo.

No sign of Tulipomanie or Coup de Fouet GTs.

Once again I bravely resisted the Orphee in blues because my Kawa Ora is so similar. I will regret this, won’t I?

I tried on the Hermès Parade in colorway 08 (crème / orange cuit / tourterelle) at the store and decided to order colorway 12 (Rose Pale/Jaune Vif / Multicolore) . Now comes the hard part: deciding which colorway suits me best.

Both colourways look great on you! I think the orange one is perfect for fall, and can probably stretch it into winter, and the pastel coloured one would be perfect for spring / summer! I also love the scarf ring that you're using. Do you know the name of the style? Thanks!

I love it on you, @redheaddem . Those colors enhance the flowy lines of the design. It looks like pure elegance to me! I agree with JulieKat : the only thing you need is a brighter lippie with this one, which I'll get as soon as my wallet has forgotten and forgiven what I did to it lately!

Thank you @Hanton, the black and white is indeed softened considerably by the grey shading in the flowers! It is not as stark as a pure white and black cw.

You are welcome @BagsRGreat and thank you for your kind comments. There is a lot of ivory in this design for sure. I will try it out with an ivory jumper to see ( I have no anthracite).

Thank you @Ashanti_Rose! On me it certainly wears less easily then the navy cw. I did try the red and it was very beautiful, but as you said, way to similar to my 90 silk and a red Bal de soie triangle with almost the same colours 🫣

Thank you @JulieKat! I see what you mean with the stronger lip. Another scarfie suggested the same! I never wear bold lipstick because I am reapplying lip balm all day but I could search for stronger lip balm colors perhaps…. I do tend to balance things out with stronger eye makeup though.

The Tulipomanie has a lot of grey shading in the tulips, which I like, but judging the photos @EtsyBoss shared earlier, I think the Sous le charme d’orphee has the most crisp black and white contrast. Also, the hem on the Tulipomanie is a dark blue (stunning imo), not black. So it is technically not completely black and white I guess…
