And I am just putting it down in writing so I own it ;) …I broke my rule and have purchased more than one scarf this season :shucks:
Honestly, It might be one in every format. This was a big season for me. I love so many!

Following up from my post yesterday, I’ve now tried Mille Feuilles de Soie with a few different tops. The purple is too bright but I love it with the navy.

My wallet has a sinking feeling that this may be a keeping both situation.
These tops, as well as yesterday's tops, look fantastic with this scarf! I LOVE it paired with the purple!!!

This is fantastic news!!! When a season speaks to you, you have to listen to it or it will continue to echo in your head until you do something about it.

I happened to hop on us h.com and saw a scarf I hadn’t seen. Faubourg City 70. I ordered it. I’ll post pics.

But does anyone have any intel on this design for available colorways?
I purchased cw 2 Framboise / Vert D'eau / Bleu as it was the only cw and only one left.

I have also seen the blue yellow red 04 online.

And on my research I see @Meta posted another cw on day one of the thread.

I am twins with @LKBNOLA. I couldn’t resist this color. And it’s my first 55 bandana silk. ( I do have a csgm.)
This base color with the striped hem is everything!
Brides et Destin 55
I do not look good in black. This was my attempt at diminishing its impact with a scarf and white cover on top. I think this one silk bandana might help me keep my black winter sweaters 🙏 because this color will be by my face.

I cannot wait to see the new 70, I love the bandana on you -- and so beautifully styled too!-- and you made me  with your bunny cartoon and your "true confessions," @Nomad!!!! I think I have a chronic case of "Big Season" twice a year...
Thank you, LKB! Actually, there was no "wow" factor for me here initially (I was even surprised - had to ask myself if I like it enough to keep it - lol). I think this is just a personal preference re: format. I guess I am so used to CSGMs, that one layer almost feels flimsy and not warm enough. I also like to wear CSGMs like traditional shawls over my shouders without knotting them, and I didn't find that particular look striking here... But cowboy knot is beautiful, indeed!
I get this @Ashanti_Rose -- I truly do. The GTs fill a different role and have a different feel to them for sure!! And if it doesn't sing to you, then best to send it back!!!
This is fantastic news!!! When a season speaks to you, you have to listen to it or it will continue to echo in your head until you do something about it.
 @Ladybaga-- you are so right about this!!! Very wise advice.

Hi Scarf Friends,
Wanted to share a few shots of Tulipomanie in Marine CW in case anyone is interested:smile: I succumbed to the temptation and ordered it. However, I will be sending it back (uups). While it is beautiful, GT format is not my thing at all (this is my first triangle). I miss the volume and weight of CSGM, as well as the options that different corners provide for drapes/knots. I am happy I gave it a try though:smile:

I echo your sentiments - I tried this cw in store and thought it was beautiful but ultimately I like the feel of a big, weighty CSGM more and it helped that I already have similar colours in my collection.

Hi - I've been reading this thread for sometime and really appreciate all the knowledge I've gained. This, however, is my first time posting and I feel somewhat of a fraud as I have only a few scarves. I have two questions if I may and apologies if this is the wrong thread.

Has anyone seen colourway 08 (brown and dark blue) of the sous le charme d'orphee - the others all seem to be online (UK) but not this one and no-one seems to have mentioned it.

Also, I'm following on from earlier posts, I recently purchased the Tulipomanie GT in the natrel, coraile, multicolore as I wanted something a little brighter and cheerier than my normal 'durge' grey/brown/beige neutrals (which I love - see above!). I too am struggling on how to tie it so I don't just get the triangle point in the centre (bandana style), I'd like to be able to pull the colours round as the focal point. If it was a square I'd fold on the bias to make a long rectangle but I don't seem to get anywhere when I do this with the GT - am I doing something wrong? Many thanks.

My favourite flower is tulip, and when I went to the store I was actually looking for the Tulipomania ones, but they had none, but when did this stop me? Lol
Back I came home and decided to check online, and what do you think? It WAS available! Of course I clicked the BIN button without further ado! It arrived yesterday, and it's TOTAL LOVE!!!
(Don't ya love that cute box?)
Congratulations! It is spectacular

Sorry it didn’t work out. It looks so stunning on you though. I do think it feels kind of flimsy really. I’m not sure if it’s H’s product is thinner now compared to vintage or what. I guess also when we are used to the full 140 then it’s natural it would feel flimsy due to so much less fabric. I am a big girl too so the full 140 works much better on me, but for those petite ladies then I can see these triangles being perfect for their smaller frames.
This is also my first triangle to put around my neck. I am underwhelmed on quality and half the size for the price. If these were $650 I would be wayyyyy more on board. For this price I don’t really feel like it’s worth it for my wallet. However even with that said, I will have one triangle in collection and I have chosen this tulip because it’s stunning and I couldn’t even imagine a better mix of colors exists for me out there in future H lol

@Nomad - we are actually on a same page. I just didn't feel that the price tag was worth it for me, given the quality and the limited options to wear it (for me). I use CSGMs as cover ups and in cowboy drape mainly (I don't like tight/elaborate knots), and with CSGMs I get double the warmth and have four corners to use for various cowboy knots. With Tulipomanie, it is only one corner really, and I didn't like how it looked when I just loosely draped it around my shoulders, so the price tag wasn't justified. Also, the fabric felt very thin; I was frankly trying to be super careful not to snag it when trying, so not to jepardize the option of being able to return it:) hehe

Alas, as you said, it is a wonderful option for petite ladies as there is obviously less fabric to deal with, and for those that are just building their collections through new boutique offerings. Or if you like to have just one GT, I think this one is as good as it gets!

Please don't feel like a fraud, there's no reason to. This thread is full of scarf enthusiasts, beginners to addicts and everything in between. We all have to start somewhere.

I can only answer about the Orphee scarf, and this is the correct thread: it has not been spotted yet. This is a normal Hermes situation, CWs trickle in. Sometimes one, sometimes all, sometimes something in between. Some never make it to certain boutiques (depends on what the SD orders) and some never make it online.

I am actually waiting on the same scarf and fingers crossed it appears soon. August is usually a slow month with Hermes, but things pick up in September.

Welcome and please don’t feel like a fraud! we all have to start somewhere! I have about 10 scarfs by now which might seem very little to most on this forum but to me has become a precious collection, offering me lots of variety to chose from…

I prefer to tie GT this way: fold into a strip and wrap it around my neck

Me too; I find the triangles useful as a cashmere option when I don't want a lot of fabric around my neck. The GMs work well over thicker sweaters and coats, but sometimes a thinner option over a shirt is just enough. I don't anticipate needing a full wardrobe of them, but a few in the pile are useful. This one is pretty classic, and if there were only to be one, this is a great choice, assuming the colors suit.
