@MAGJES My SA has kept this green/coral for me to try on as it’s the only one that has arrived in store. Not sure about that oat base on me but here’s a picture if it’s any help.

Funny @GloWW0rM, this snippet pic sent me immediately in my head to: ‘hmmm, don’t I have oatmeal ground plus orange hem already? Yes, yes I do, but I think it’s the Papillon triangle which would read as a totally different design. But isn’t there something else in that pile that’s oatmeal ground plus orange hem and how many of those do you really need, and I know you can talk yourself into anything but, seriously?’ I enjoy talking to myself, I have wonderfully animated conversations in my head

Dear scarfies,

I received my navy Tulipomanie triangle yesterday. The design and colors are beautiful but strangely enough it is not instant love 🙃

I do not know if it is the scale of the flowers, or the almost identical colors of my La Selle Imaginaire….

I will give it some time, but I might try out the grey Tulipomanie (with the neon flowers) before pulling the trigger on this design.

I have the green with the black border but this one was a very close contender! Beautiful colors, I love the soft blue with the pinks and reds. Congratulations @scarf1!

Thank you for the pics! Very pretty! I actually didn’t register that the last mod shot was of Selle - they do look similar indeed. I think CSGM is more versatile if to choose between the two. Having said that, there are a couple of very pretty monochrome CWs of Tulips - black and white and also brown/taupe with navy.. I don’t think anyone posted the mods yet though..

I do love the design and am very, very tempted, but not sure if it is worth the $ investment for me.. decisions decisions…

Thank you @Ashanti_Rose! The design is very pretty and I can see why you are tempted. I know you love your shawls very much and it is also my preferred format, but I must say I have three Triangles now and they might become my most used format (temperatures permitting so perhaps not in wintertime). I find that the Triangles drape even nicer because they is less fabric to work with.

I will have a look out for the monochrome Tulipomanies, I especially like the black and white version.

They really are so similar. But a different format. So I guess depending on your existing collection it could work or not.

Do you know if you are going to keep it @MAGJES? I have decided to wait and try some different cws.

I’ll take photos when I go to try it on next week. Hopefully some other cws will arrive by then too. No, I don’t have any oat bases - beiges and browns are not my colours. They just don’t suit my cool toned complexion so it’s usually grey base or colourful base.

If anyone has bought these scarves: Would you mind to help me out with the colours? Are the borders black or - as almost always in recent years (lol my personal perception) dark blue? Regarding CSGM Lettres Equestre: are the greens, reds and yellows really as "bright/strong/rather cool/harsh" as in the detail photo?
I would be thrilled and grateful to receive information or photos.
(Haven't found anything 100 per cent suitable for my personal complexion / wardrobe yet this season, so I haven't been able to share yet.)
(And since I am actually, well, quite a bit up in the double-digit range of admired but unused scarves

... I'll stand firm - well - for now...).

Though my "new sensible Me" kicks in: the border appears to be dark blueish shimmering stripes and white? - NOT black and white ? Edited: this might absolutely be my "antique" screen that is why I would like to make sure I get it right. Thank you so much again.
