Happy Friday, everyone. Fed Ex came early today with the second part of my delivery from H Madison and the last of the 90 silks on my list: Virginie Jamin's Emile et une Nuit in cw07 bleu/violet/vert. Please forgive the tee shirt, wrong lipstick, no styling but I thought y'all would want to see these pretty colors! The hem is a soft teal and the design is definitely screwball but fun! It ties very very well, too and the mix of colors is not something I otherwise have among my blues!

Dear scarfies,

Today I received the second part of my order of Jungle Love triangles.

They are very pretty. Vintage feeling but modern at the same time. Big love ❤️

I Have decided I will keep the green.
The yellow bordered one is beautiful, but I prefer the boldness of the black border and vivid foliage. The yellow bordered one is less vibrant, to me, it is a monochrome grey with some spots of yellow and red. Very pretty, but not as pretty as the green imo…

The blue/turquoise is nice. So is the orange/grey. They tie better than I was expecting.

I have included my new blue "Emile" and Nigel Peake's Chacun Fait son Nid, which I own and Metamorphoses Par Hermès which I have in different cws, and finally last season's Precious Paradise which I know was very popular. Dear Mods, this season's design is outlined in the upper left corner to be sure I am on topic.

Thank you for this comparison, dear LKB! Indeed, it does have a very similar vibe to Chacun, but the shade of blue is closer to Metamorphoses perhaps. I also was thinking of La Maison des Oiseaux Parleurs by Bela Silver - when tied, they do have similar vibes. Precious Paradise has probably more coherence in the design, while others are more abstract... Wonderful collection of blues!

You have reminded me of my Mountain Zebra (am twins with you!) - I totally forgot how beautiful this scarf is! Les Foiles is different - more fluorescent, with less color saturation.. I am sure it will look gorgeous on dark or jewel tone clothing.

I think the word for Jamin's new Emile et Une Nuit is "painterly"-- a little less coherent than any other others but with its own delightful vibe. The blue field, even without the violet accents, is cooler in tone. This scarfie can, apparently, always find a reason to add another beautiful blue!!!

Thank you @LKBNOLA! 🥰 I just couldn't resist getting a second one of this design. When I bought the first (cw01) I was really torn on which one to get. Today I went back and got the second one (cw06). CW 01 was already sold out (for now) in my store today! I will post more images of cw06 and also some comparison photos between the two.

This is Folies du Faubourg cw05 Bleu Électrique / Ardoise / Blanc. I tried on most cws in store and came home with this one. I loved cw01 but it’s too similar to my Eleftheria 140 silk. This is unlike anything I have in my collection, colour-wise, and I love it.

So beautiful and probably very versatile in all seasons and with many tops. Somehow, I envision a grey top with it, too.
