Happy Friday, everyone. Fed Ex came early today with the second part of my delivery from H Madison and the last of the 90 silks on my list: Virginie Jamin's Emile et une Nuit in cw07 bleu/violet/vert. Please forgive the tee shirt, wrong lipstick, no styling but I thought y'all would want to see these pretty colors! The hem is a soft teal and the design is definitely screwball but fun! It ties very very well, too and the mix of colors is not something I otherwise have among my blues!

Very pretty scarf, dear LKB! The design reminds me of the Chacun Fait scarf by Nigel Peake when draped (there a smiliar blue CW) but with additionl of purple detail. It looks great with your navy top btw!

Thank you, @Ashanti_Rose -- I do have a Chacun Fait son Nid that is blue! This actually reminds me more of the blue cw of Metamorphoses par Hermès in a general kind of way! It is a pretty combination for my closet!

Hmm - I didn't think of Metamorphoses (which is a spectacular design!) In any way, it is beautiful, and you wear blues so well! I have to add that it is nicely - and evenly - saturated on the reverse - thinking of you genius knots for double face scarves, this could be perfect for those as well.

Here it is compared with my Mountain Zebra, as I thought they might be (too) similar. But it's actually quite a difference (at least enough of a difference 😇).

I don't think you will be disappointed in 01 when it arrives! It's one of those scarves that just has to be seen IRL to fully appreciate. Probably my most vibrant scarf colorwise. Nothing really compares. Adding another photo I took of Les Folies au Faurbourg (cw01) with some that I thought also might be similar. Realize as I'm posting this that the other three are all by Alice Shirley, so that might add to the difference...

Looking forward seeing the comparison with your Mountain Zebra! Your CW is stunning!

Of course - you always look put together in our eyes too - and right after the dog park!!! But isn’t it great with our dogs that they always think we are grand and legendary!! 😆 well, unless they don’t get dinner on time but otherwise you are right - we look perfect and are just right to them. 🐾🐾❤️
