I visited my boutique today, had a lovely time meeting with my SA. Unfortunately, only a few pieces of the new collection were available.

The blue jungle love triangle was very pretty, but I noticed that the grey chiné background is not so flattering on me. Might suit some of you better!

The pink of the Stately Wheels is very bright! Even brighter than the pink Planifleurs and the hot pink Robe légère from past seasons. It was almost a bit fluo and a bit much even for me...

I liked the bordeaux Stately Wheels the best. Very pretty background color. Unfortunately, the sable/brown version was not in store yet.

There were no new GSGM either. I did not take anything for now, will wait for some more pieces to come in.

Thank you @LKBNOLA ! I'm torn because I love the Lilly Pulitzer vibe of the 01 colors but also the softer combo and lavender hem of 07. I have a tendency towards multiple cws of the same design and this will probably be the one for this season's 90's!

Good morning everyone. I wanted to share some photos of Rosa Maria Unda-Souki's charming Bagage à Main today. I was unsure about this scarf -- mainly due to cws. I adore the designer, with whom I feel a connection (she is Venezuelan and I spent my early childhood in Caracas). I very much love the idiosyncratic items that she packed in her carryon bag! Any scarf that includes a Latin American Poetry Anthology, a Guide Book or two, old letters, notebooks and the phrase "The World is a Scarf" (plus her signature insects) was convincing to me. I am happy to have found a cw that works. I love the mix of soft and bright shades and the border. Here are some photos of three basic folds of cw (01) gris claire/vert amande/corail--

Some quick photos of Les Folies du Faubourg in CW05, Bleu Électrique / Ardoise / Blanc. It is less monochromatic than I expected, it's actually blue-green, not just blue, with a nice green border. It is also almost totally white on the back, I think the only scarf I have with so much difference between front and back is Parures de Samourais.



Plus some comparison with other blue with some green scarves (I wrote that I have a blue scarves problem, right?).

I understand completely @cali_to_ny -- I am prone to that myself! Both are wonderful and I am smiling to myself about your description -- "Lily Pulitzer vibe" is the perfect description-- we have a few shops here on Cape Cod and the windows often look like happy rainbows of color...

It is beautiful @katarzynaanna! Congratulations. The shadings are truly lovely in this more monochrome version and the hem alone would be a compelling reason! A truly lovely addition to your collection-- it may be blue but it is quite different from your others. This is the one that would tempt me as I also have a blue problem...

Fed Ex came early today with the second part of my delivery from H Madison and the last of the 90 silks on my list: Virginie Jamin's Emile et une Nuit in cw07 bleu/violet/vert. Please forgive the tee shirt, wrong lipstick, no styling but I thought y'all would want to see these pretty colors! The hem is a soft teal and the design is definitely screwball but fun! It ties very very well, too and the mix of colors is not something I otherwise have among my blues!

Not at all, @GloWW0rM -- I actually dislike that whiteness on the back of some. This has a softness on the reverse but the cw is recognizable. Not still at all but still has that bit of sizing to hold the knot...
