I am not sure if any of these have been posted here already, but I went to try some 70 cm silks. I was not planning to like "I Like Flowers" until I tried the dark blue color! I am going back on Monday to pick it up! And I got the Fabourg City (last photo).

Thanks so much, I appreciated seeing the photo you posted! Yes, can be so hectic in store. Helpful to know more about the hem color. I think the caramel All'Orto would feel too muted for me, too, but look forward to (hopefully) seeing it at some point. The Orphee is such a lovely, classic design. None of the colorways work for me, so I'm vicariously enjoying this on others!

Hope you can try the Otto in caramel and that it works. Is a really beautiful design.

Thank you for sharing these pics of the "I Like Flowers" I agree with you. I think I prefer the darker blue colour. The Faubourg City also looks awesome! Would love to see it opened up whenever you pick yours up!

I do not know, but my SA said probably not, at least not soon, when I asked her a few weeks back. However, she said she does not know for sure either and was just guessing on other design release patterns.

I would assume that the colourways would be different for a shawl, if it is to come. I decided to go for it, because I loved the blue version.

Good morning, Scarfies. I am planning to see what happened to all the quotes (and congratulations!) I had just caught up on but in the meantime, I am offering some photos of the All'Orto Botanico di Palermo in the beautiful vert loden cw. It is so very lovely but for me the question was always whether my Jardin de Leila au Bloc was too close to justify. Here are two mod shots featuring a simple drape. I took them on a green top because the complex colors in this cw are almost impossible to capture in a photo-- it does tend to photograph quite a bit more grey than it is in actual life. (This I think you can see better in the comparison photos).

Here is a photo showing Jardin de Leila au Bloc (also by Houtin) on one side and Orto on the other:

And finally, here are the two shawls side by side for comparison:


Something I adore about the Orto design is the fact that it fills the frame, unlike Leila. I also love the more integrated hem color on this particular cw. But in the final analysis, I am going in the direction of choosing the magnificent blue cw and most likely one other, but I am reserving judgement until I am able to see all in person -- hopefully next week I will get word that the caramel cw I requested is in and I will be able to compare it with cw 09.
I want to thank @Persimmon13 for her fabulous mod shots and for the push I needed to do this close analysis. I think I will always look at this Orto with longing... [sigh].

Thank you for sharing these. I got the Montura de Gaucho shawl 140 ardoise clair / corail / vert. The colours were impossible for me to capture and rather look gray in my photos - though they are definitely green - so for reference: the colours shown on Hermès site are pretty accurate / true to IRL.

I recently tried on both 06 and 09 cw of the Orto Botanico Shawl, but ended up leaving with just the 06 (blue). I still loved the look of the 09 (pink/turquoise) but wasn't sure if I would wear it enough since I only really wear black/white/gray/navy+blues. My daily style is casual.

Would love some input from scarf enthusiasts and experts on whether I should also get the 09 🤭 or I should just wait for more designs to come. Attached pics for reference!

Well, @gogingercat -- you have received a lot of really terrific advice already from the @Nomad and @redheaddem and others weighing in. I think if it were me starting out I'd go for the blue and if it were me just a few seasons later, I would go for the 09! I am no help at all. I love the 09 on you, though and it seems lovely and versatile and has a lot of blue in the design...

Got stuck at the connecting city due to flight cancellation. But look what I picked up from the Hermes airport store! Finally, I found the perfect color that I have been looking for for months. Some quick mod shots before heading to the airport again. Fingers crossed I can fly out today!

Oh congratulations!!!! This is an absolutely beautiful styling of this already beautiful piece @Croisette7! IMO one of the best of the season -- the design in CSGM is just so very special...and sometimes you just need a side-by-side comparison in the final analysis.

Went to try 3 different colors of the Orto thinking one of them would be it. Ended up with le Charme d'Orphée in caramel. Really wanted one in caramel.
This design is super special, already have a double faced 90 silk.

I want to be more selective with my purchases, so I believe this is the only 140 of the year.
My SA also confirmed price increase 1st of Jan, not sure how much.
