Finally, long awaited Orto vert loden has arrived. I took a couple of pictures in the morning light, and will add more with different coloured tops and different knots over the weekend.
My first impressions: love the subtle tonal rendering of the motif, it is a mix of dark green and navy on light natural background. The wrong side is not at all saturated. It is a keeper for me, as it goes well with my neutral monochrome outfits.

I m still interested in seeing blue and caramel cws, but I feel like this one is the best match of colours and the design, in my opinion of course.

This is gorgeous! I’m so sad that this still isn’t available where I live… I’d love to see how it looks with a black outfit!

Very late to the party…and lately hardly interested in H scarves any longer….but I finally stumbled upon a shawl that made my heart sing. First purchase in 2024- that says it all, right? I wanted to share this Sous le Charme d‘Orphée in CW08 caramel/caban/noisette… it’s a very dark navy though in the pictures looks more black - in case anyone is interested in this CW. Hope this is helpful

In case you’re considering this colorway, I ended up going with Orto 08 (Vert Vif). I’ve included a photo comparing it to other greens: Orto (3 o’clock), Faubourg Tropical (6 o’clock), Retour à la Nature (9 o’clock), Maharani (11 o’clock), and Acte III (1 o’clock). Vert Vif has a brighter, almost emerald-green quality, but it’s still quite similar to what I already have, which is why I was initially drawn to the blue colorway.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! You have been very helpful and insightful. I have been told I’m a “winter” and I think you are exactly right. Sadly, I am now thinking this may be a scarf I have to pass on. I might be trying too hard to make it work😥

I’m a Winter too and I’ve had to pass on this design as none of the cws were perfect for me. The closest to good was the cw in blues with the grid chine base, but the blues were too muted for me so I’ve decided to skip it. I too tried on the black and white cw and it was just a bit too stark, even though black and white do suit a winter. I think it may be the bold strokes of the design, in this case. Good luck with your decision!

Treated myself to Les Folies du Faubourg in rose/bleu/vert (not sure what number colourway this is) as a little Christmas gift to myself. I’m being good and waiting patiently to wear it until after Christmas but will share mod shots then! I love the pastel colours to inject some more interest into my largely neutral wardrobe.

My Sous le Charme d'Orphee CSGM in CW03, blanc / jaune vif / rouge, has arrived. As is usually the case for Hermes, the "rouge" is closer to orange in my opinion. Especially when outside under cloudy skies.

I don't think this colorway is anything special with the black jacket. It is better with the brown and blue color families. I think it would also work well with a greenish khaki, as there is quite a bit of that color in there. The red is an orange-red, not a blue-red. The hem is medium brown. I really like the light blue color in there. The design is magnificent, and this CSGM is a keeper. I am wearing a small silk scarf to keep the cashmere off my neck. Now to learn to tie pretty knots.

I love that this cw has a white base. The colours are so fresh and crisp. Such a wonderful choice!

François Houtin’s All ‘Orto Botanico di Palermo Colourway 08. I really liked all the colourways and may still pick up the orange/brown version as well. I’m not a huge fan of natural/oatmeal backgrounds but I admire how it slightly subdue’s the bright greens. For some reason I chose a blue/green top for the pics. Not a most useful choice.

I love this vibrant geen version, it is my favourite and I love it on you!

Did anyone buy this Roues de phaeton CSGM in 07 they could show? I find the color combo appealing and I have wanted a striped hem CSGM.

Thank you for sharing these. I got the Montura de Gaucho shawl 140 ardoise clair / corail / vert. The colours were impossible for me to capture and rather look gray in my photos - though they are definitely green - so for reference: the colours shown on Hermès site are pretty accurate / true to IRL.

Second new scarf of the season and my first double face 90. A trip to the San Francisco boutique the other day resulted in the purchase of Guepards Bandana in CW 03 vert amanda/bleu/rose.
