I think the sage one will look stunning on you!

The sage will most likely be lovely with your coloring @Jereni! You should definitely try it.

Thank you both! I am definitely tempted.

Am I the only one who hates the way they now show the flat scarves on the webpage, with the bizarre shadows and the wavy display rather than just showing them flat?

I love the Gianpaolo Pagni one but I've sworn off 90s... let's see how long that resolution lasts!

Yes, I so agree about the wavy display as I wonder whether I should be imagining the correct colour somewhere between the dark and light shades - or indeed a different colour altogether! Stressful.

I wonder if the new approach to the flat pics is to keep one guessing as to true tone of color and deter fakes…

Took the scarf out for some photos, the boyfriend wanted to be involved so he modeled it  I took a photo of it with an Ulysse in Rosa Mexico to show the pink hue a bit. They are almost a perfect match!

What a gorgeous vivid color! Thanks for sharing!

On Chinese H-website Pantin City - on the second screen-shot H003969S 05 -
and edited to add the neutral coloured version

The colors in that second cw are speaking to me. I suspect the design is too busy for me tho.

Thank you so much for the photos of Pantin City @Pivoine66 and @Hanton. I found my eye drawn to cw05 and then I looked in my scarf photo file and realized why. No penguins or Gila monsters but... Am I crazy?

Haha oh yeah definitely some similarities.

Thanks for the telling comparison. This is exactly why I'm getting a bit frustrated with new designs but especially by the colour family repetition over several years. IMO these will look so similar when tied that there's little point in adding the FW 2023 design to one's collex - just my opinion.

Exactly. The pink does change the equation somewhat, but I'll bet there's a few mid blue/mid brown cws out there from the past few seasons. It helps if there was a color in one of the options that was problematic, and it helps with coordinating with the seasonal color selections for bags (and RTW) but as a general operating principle I'm a bit dismayed....

Such a good example, @LKBNOLA! Using my "squint test", they almost become indistinguishable, or at least much too similar. And while it's fun to have a few busy, highly detailed scarves, there have just been so many in recent seasons. It starts to feel repetitive, especially when seen from a distance, even if each is a unique design.
