But… I am starting to lean towards returning it for something else. What do we think of this one on me? Not fishing for compliments - honest opinions welcome.

Helios is adorable! I’m waiting to see one other cw in person before deciding which to get.

Planifleurs… I do not particularly like this design as I find the flowers quite flat and the corners a bit boring. This cw is the only one I’d consider and it looks stunning on @LKBNOLA but I don’t see myself wearing it. For me, the combination of flowers and black & white is too mature and I fear would age me a bit. I suspect the same may be true for you. It sounds like you have your doubts, which is usually a good indicator that it’s not a knock-out for you.

I’m not offended in the least, speaking as both a proud senior citizen and an owner of this design but I think it’s all in the styling. Unlike Helios, I don’t think this is a t-shirt design; it would be better, say, on a black cashmere sweater. I don’t think age is the right consideration; for me, it’s more whether the scarf suits your coloring, and what you wear with it/how you style it. :flowers:

The Helios is a perfect match for your colouring, I really the deep orange anchoring the colour scheme. Planifleurs, when tied with majority black showing, isa strong contrast with your colouring. The last tie, with majority softening browns, blues and creams, looks dramatic and very flattering.

I think this is a really great CW of panifleurs -- I am drawn to dramatic statements. You have lovely, soft coloring, but I think you can manage some drama. I would tone everything else down (this soft grey sweater is good!) and keep to casual ties, as you have done here. Let's see what others say....

I bet both of you look lovely! This scarf is so glorious for color, I want every cw :P I know for sure 02 wouldn’t work on my coloring, but told DH it would look great with his!! He said if I bought it for him he would just enjoy it in the lighted display. I truly wish the blue would show up in the US. It looks more monochromatic but it has parme in it too.

The blue does look stunning with the parme. I’m sure they’re drip feeding the stock on purpose as I’ve only seen two cws on the US, Canada, China and the Thailand websites.

I wish ANY of the colourways of La Vallee de Cristal would show up in the UK! The boutiques are even slower to get stock. My SA said she’s only seen the Clair de Lune cw in caramel so far and no sign of the unicorn scarf and shawls.
