I’m finally able to share my eagerly and one and only awaited 90 for this season - Vallee cw 01! It arrived this morning, and it’s every bit as gorgeous as I imagined! Here are a few pics, and thanks to @sf_newyorker for the beautiful mod shots! You look wonderful! Cw 01 is the absloute perfect cw for me, as it suits my coloring, and every bag and slg from H I have (black looks fine, but it is the most ”boring” combination. And now I don’t have to change our of my “garanimal” jammy clothes to model, as today is a snuggle in at home day.

Almost all my scarves I receive, I immediately get out my bags and slg’s in different cw’s to see what works, then I worry about clothes later. No surprise to any of you lovelies here, but I love how H showcases new colors and calls back to previous leathers and colors with many scarves. What a fabulous way to freshen our look. So here are few pics, and I brought out Rose Tyrien (bag shown), as well as anemone, Mykonos, bleu Frida, rose poupre, mauve sylvestre, framboise, bleu hydra and black bags or slg’s, along with 2 canvas LV men’s pieces I bought for use during the pandemic. All those colors look great with this piece. The LV bags are truly the only bags I own with orange or yellow in them, as I’m not drawn to warm colors except as small accents in scarves. This scarf with the LV pieces would mean people would see me coming!! I adore bright and varied color, it makes me happy and this scarf is a true keeper. This was the only 90 I wanted this season (thank goodness, money tree has dropped all its leaves this fall!)

I'm loving everyone’s pieces and cw’s - just because I can’t wear certain things doesn’t mean I don’t love them on all of you. Happy Friday eve!

PS I was going to show more pics, but this scarf is so saturated and detailed I had to crop much of it out as my iPhone generates a huge file from the entire pic, but this gives you an idea.

I’m not offended in the least, speaking as both a proud senior citizen and an owner of this design but I think it’s all in the styling. Unlike Helios, I don’t think this is a t-shirt design; it would be better, say, on a black cashmere sweater. I don’t think age is the right consideration; for me, it’s more whether the scarf suits your coloring, and what you wear with it/how you style it.

This is a very good point - I prob did not do the scarf many favors by putting it on a gray long sleeve tee.

Overall tho I think there is another black based scarf I have more love for so I may get that instead.

Ugo really outdid himself here - he accomplished his goal of pushing as much sugar as possible within a silk frame for sure. The amount of screens it must of taken - it blows the mind and could be why they are releasing small batches at a time (looks to be about 20-25 qty per cw). Animapolis is one that I need to track down next year! I would hazard a guess that Animapolis required more screens but they look to be close! I am going to treasure these beauties, thank you, and the same to you and to all the new unicorn-partners!

Thank you so much, DrTr! You are always so kind. All of the colorways are wonderful; it would be hard to choose. I bought this one yesterday at my Hermes. They had this one and the glorious blue/pink with yellow unicorn. I loved both but decided on this one because of the unique color combination. I would love to see the green and blue one in person. It is such a cool design. You got cw 01, correct? That one is outstanding and will go beautifully with your hot pink birkin in your avatar!

Some new-ins!

First is my Au Royaume d’Helios… I’ve been waiting for this one since the first press photos landed and lol it took forever to arrive in my boutique! Twins with @HermesHope !!! From prior photos I was worried some of the colors would be too bright on me but I’m thrilled with it. These pics aren’t the best lighting tho.

I still find it funny that this is a fall/winter colorway - it seems absolutely springlike to me!

And then, after seeing some mod shots from @LKBNOLA I also bought this one - Planifleurs in black.

But… I am starting to lean towards returning it for something else. What do we think of this one on me? Not fishing for compliments - honest opinions welcome.

Planifleurs in black is beautiful but I think it looks too formal and too harsh with your hair and skin color, even for somber winter days! You look so lovely in springlike colors!

Agreed! I think some warmth somewhere else in the outfit would make the Planfleurs scarf less cold and almost boring. Apologies if I’m being to frank but know that I’d appreciate the feedback as I’ve purchased colorways that don’t flatter me as much as the others so they indefinitely sit in the drawer. If you’re fine with having to put more thought in the entire outfit and love the design then keep it. If you prefer something more effortless then the Au Royaume d’Helios cw on you is perfect. It makes you look bright and fresh. Very flattering tones on you.
