Thank you very much and you are so welcome. This design reminds me of a paint-by-number picture, which was one of my concerns with it. But close inspection shows beautiful color gradations beyond the black lines. You can see this especially in the Ugo signature close-up that I posted.

ETA- Here is one from allpaintbynumbers.art. Never thought about it before, but I sure hope that baby unicorns are born hornless and it grows in later.

OMG Ugo is so busted! He paints by numbers LOL. On topic - I have the green also.

To add to the RBH post, my Vallee also arrived. Got both orange and green; the orange is going back but the green one is staying put. IMO, the color combination on it is magnificent and reminded me of Manet paintings I saw at the Manet/Degas exhibit at the Met museum last weekend. I wouldn’t be surprised if H designers study works of art to create colorways for their designs. It is a beautiful scarf and the pictures don’t do justice to it.
We are also twins!
I have read here that the design artists have no say in the colorways H uses for their scarves. But maybe someone else can confirm or debunk.

My Vallee has arrived. All photos taken with natural sunlight.

La Vallee de Crystal in vert vif/rose/bleu, CW06. I was pleased to see the pastal pinks, yellows and blues forming the sky in the middle of the design.

And, a couple shots outside to show the colors better.

Here is the unicorn.

Remember how we used to hate the color families? But I wonder what else comes in VM? Because everyone really likes these colors.

Mega congratulations, dear twins! I arrived home today and mine has also been delivered. It is late so no photos but it is stunning right out of the box. In my short collecting journey, I have only purchased two scarves on colorway alone and this will be the third. I am not overly gaga over the design-- despite the collective noun for unicorns being a "blessing"! This scarf, however is a color wonder in this green cw 06. And like @Redbirdhermes -- the Unicorn's blue eye is a charming detail. Thank you to both for your beautiful pictures and to @Ashanti_Rose for a beautiful analysis. Thank you to everyone on this thread also for the photos, mod shots, on-line alerts, sightings and boutique intelligence. I hope that everyone who wants a Unicorn ends up with one.
Congrats! I feel the same way about the design, whatever it's supposed to be. Apparently a paint by number homage, LOL. But the colors are so great. Hence my curiosity about the color family. Does @Meta or anyone know how to search by color family?

Indeed - the artists themselves do not develop the colorways, which in turn is done by the in-house production design team (that is what I referenced in my post). The artists only provide the original drawings; H pays for the drawings and they (the drawings) become part of H inventory/archive. The fact that H bought a drawing from an artist doesn’t mean the the drawing/design will be put into production, unless H commissions the drawings specifically for one or another collection.

Right - I find it so weird that the artist has no input in the colors. Because, well, we all went to the sale and saw some of the CWs no one wants, LOL.

I was just at Madison NYC to pick up my Vallée de Cristal scarves. They just arrived today.
They are having very few as my SA confirmed the scarf is a push offer and they are getting very few. I got the pink and the orange ones. @Notorious Pink contact your SA to get yours!
The Jaguar and Colibri is also a push offer and supposed to come later but not sure what colors they will get.
Claire de Lune CSGM in navy and pink will arrive later but are supposed to come!

Thanks, sweetie! :hugs: My SA texted me and I’m picking mine up this week! The pink (01) and the green (06). :yahoo:

So many thanks to everyone for your (very enabling) mod shots this season!

I know that others upthread have mentioned receiving damaged silks, but has anyone noticed a stiff, plasticky handfeel and lack of drape to the silk this season? I ordered a few 90s online, and if I hadn't known that they were Hermes silk, I would have thought they were some type of polyester. I am guessing that the silk might just be overstarched, but it feels like something more than that.
