Thank you @papertiger it really is. I love the DC bag as a casual crossbody but when you shorten the strap to carry on the shoulder it looks more elegant and less casual with the noir and gold.

I got the same one as yours @bichdreams Etoupe GHW. I was on the fence honestly, because I usually prefer PHW. However, it’s fall/winter season now, so maybe i should enjoy the warmer tones it brings out❤️ Such a cute bag!

I’m a little late responding to this, but this is how I sometimes tie a scarf on my Della. I actually used a Dior Mitzah here, as it is longer than a H Twilly and can be finished with a bow. The same method works with a shorter H Twilly, but the ends would have to be tied in a simple knot. I don’t usually style Della with both Twilly and charm as I think it looks too busy. (I took this pic as I was excited to try out my new Peggy.
Here’s another option for styling the Della. I find that she looks best with smaller charms, or nothing at all to show off her beautiful shape.

Enjoy your new acquisition… I got my Della 2 years ago when she first came out and she is one of my fav H bags! She suits about 85% of my lifestyle, from office to errands, events and especially travel. The only times Della doesn’t work for me are when I need to carry a ton (which can be remedied with a spare canvas tote), or if I’m going to a formal event. You will get so much use out of her, and Gold with PHW really does match everything!

I wore my Halzan 25 all the time until I got my Della . Since then I have worn the Della much more, but I really can’t point to specific reasons ! I don’t find one more practical than the other .
I would add that I personally prefer the way you open and close the Della over the Halzan (I am one of those who actually close the Halzan), which is one reason why I tend to use the Della more often. But both bags are extremly usefull and beautiful, so you can not go wrong with either one…
Picked up little miss Della today! It was instant love - appreciate how sturdy it is and the easy to use clasp. I love the curves on it too. Della is such a practical little beauty!

Happened upon this cutie on a recent trip to Paris (George V location). Had been interested in the closing mechanism of the DC but wasn't looking for another square-shaped crossbody (plus, I really love my Roulis 23), and I didn't prefer the location of the strap attachment; but now I might need to let my SA know about adding this to the list!
Apologies on not getting better pics (interior, hardware, strap, etc) as I was a bit caught off guard as this was just casually hanging out in the RTW section. (The SAs on the floor had to encourage me to take some pics actually
.) I wasn't even aware there was an Elan style! Love that the strap is connected on the sides and there's just something about that east-west shape.
For reference, I'm about an EU36 sizing.
(And unfortunately no, I couldn't bring it home with me as I wasn't able to get an appt
