I really love this style, love equestrian details like the snaffle clasp, although I haven't gotten to hold one in person yet. I was disappointed that an otherwise knowledgable SA at Hermes Meatpacking NYC didn't know of the bag when I asked about it last summer, I had to show her a picture, and she said they had gotten none in. Isn't that weird? I hope they become more available.

I saw one recently in person (nov 2021) in black. Thought it was super cute but the mini barely fit my phone..

I saw the DC on the runway and asked my SA for one. Madison Avenue had an assortment some months ago and I picked a craie epsom mini DC. The mini DC is my most used H bag currently and first and only epsom. It fits my iPhone, card case, hand sanitizer, key lariat, valextra (open temple) sun glass case, Oakley mask, but everything is a bit stacked. Has a nice sized outside pocket and an interior pocket, neither of which I really use bc it’s so easy to get inside. Has gone through rain easily and wipes clean. Crossbody, and while it’s deep, it somehow conforms to hanging on the back, side or front of my body. Comfortable to wear. Under the radar.

I've wanted one since they were on the runway too and had hoped for one in 2022...but I believe my new phone won't fit into a mini DC based on bag measurements so I may wait. :)

Still yet to see the larger size of the Della Cavalleria, which might work for you? ;) I was told other than the initial batch at launch, my store hasn't received much if any of the mini (let alone the larger size).

I love my new della cavalleria mini. It’s my first epsom bag. I preferred it to the mini lindy (which I also tried on) bc DC looks more streamlined and hangs better; adjustable strap; easier to get into; no awkward side handles (which make sense in larger lindys but just look like Mickey Mouse ears on the mini). I also purchased a mini Loewe puzzle (the latter bag specifically for travel bc it smooshs flat). Craie. I’m 5’2”, medium build, not small boned or petite, size 38-40EU. The DC was, I believe, 5300USD in epsom.

How has the craie DC held up with wear and tear / color transfer? I saw you went on an amazing trip ;) and would love to hear since you’ve used this bag a lot recently. Thinking about this for a future purchase ….

No color transfer and I wear it in the rain sometimes. However, color transfer arises from dark clothing that has not been prewashed or color fast (Not usually my issue; and I rarely wear dark denim)

i do worry abit about the way in whihc the DC straps are attached to the body of the bag. I try to be a little careful not to twist them so they don’t deform (like a belt)

2 things: did Hermes finally realize the high pricing with Tadelakt version and reduced the price? Also Della is coming in with gold hardware…WOW

previously it is priced close to $9K CAD but today it is listed only $7k.

I am so excited for my della:yahoo:. I didn't have a specific colour in mind, so got offered a Nata.

I didn't have a super close look at the boutique. I just wanted to take her home. I now noticed a slightly darker spot inside (still brand new, I have only just gotten her 2 hours ago). That particular spot is not as smooth as the rest. But I also dont think it's a scratch. 20220410_154631.jpg

I never owned an epsom, so I am not sure what the inside is supposed to be like.

I have contacted the SA, waiting for a reply.

Do you think that's just naturally how the leather is? Or a quality oversight?

I really want to keep the bag. :panic:

My wife really liked this bag but was shocked that it was a little bit heavy for its size. It's heavier than the constance which is a shame because it's such a beautiful bag.

@catin , at the NY meet, I emptied my mini DC and some members tried it with two larger phones. I believe one might have been an android and the other possibly the larger iPhone. I think both were in their respective protective cases and just fit. you may want to ask your SA

@A.Ali , did you and your wife try the epsom mini model? It may be lighter than the tadelakt
