So I bought an Evelyne 16 Amazone bag on Thursdays. It is "in preparation " stage. I was wondering from previous experience, will there be a possibility of it being cancelled?
Yes. In my experience... unfortunately with hot items that sit pending,, they will be cancelled... happened to me 2 weeks ago with rodeos... =(
One was shipped same day, the other sat pending in prep, got cancelled next biz day.
BUT, I could be wrong in ur case. Fingers crossed for u.

They authorized the payment on my credit card however, the transaction is still pending. :sad::sad::sad: I was so excited when I refreshed and it was there. I quickly add cart and checked out:biggrin::biggrin:. Literally made my day on Thursday but now I am extra sad if it gets cancel.

yes the authorized mine too.
sometimes the website can't keep pace with all the rush transactions so they don't have stock to fulfill the order once they sort them to ship. This happened to one of my rodeos.... the note in the email stated they ran out of stock =(
But let's keep hope alive!!!!

So I bought an Evelyne 16 Amazone bag on Thursdays. It is "in preparation " stage. I was wondering from previous experience, will there be a possibility of it being cancelled?
Depending on where you are in the world remember these items ship from France, if you’re not based in Europe and placed the order on Thursday afternoon it could have already passed the cut off point for that business day. I don’t recall receiving a shipping notification on a Saturday so if you count Friday as the first business day you’ll probably get a shipping notification on Monday. I’ve ordered from the website several times as usually I get my notification around 4pm GMT. Sometimes they send the notification within the hour of placing the order but if you click the tracking it’s just where they have booked the collection with FedEx and when the item is actually shipped you get another notification. HTH.

If this is the case, then why does the stock/availability differ so much between the different sites...? :confused1:

Depending on what is ordered some items will ship from France hence the different lead times on shipping. The stock is allocated to different areas, the whole of Europe with the exception of France has the same stock on their respective websites but I can order from any of these sites including the French site. I once wanted to order something from the US and have it delivered to a store for my friend to pick up ahead of me coming to visit her and I called CS to find out if the item was actually in stock to send to the store and was told they had to confirm as it would be shipped from France :confused1:

Still "in preparation" and they havent processed the transaction on my credit card. I think it will be cancel :sad:.
 
I have a question regarding online purchases. I am new to Hermes. Have only purchased a few scarves. All of
my previous purchases have been in the boutiques (during travel).

We have a new Hermes boutique that opened last year. It is at least a two hour drive each way. I am wanting
to purchase a throw. I love the whole “trappings” that go into a purchase. Love my LV and Chanel boxes.

When you purchase online, do the items come with the nice orange box? I know it will not have a shopping bag, but hoping the throw will come with a box.

Wondering if it is worth the trip just for the wrapping

Can’t tell exactly from US website, but I was going to order a 45 scarf. It appears as of 3/20 stores AND distribution centers will be closed, so likely nothing will ship for awhile. Can’t tell if we order a scarf (or anything) between now and Friday is it will ship this week. any intel? Wasn’t sure where to post, it is one of Hermes Sellier pocket squares from this season.

It is likely that your item will ship. Per the online announcement, it is orders placed after 2:00pm on Friday that will be held until the distribution center reopens.
