Who’s complaining about not getting hard to come by items and then turning around and selling them? I for one will complain as much as I want, because it’s utterly unfair when I want to purchase a bag or rodeo charm and it’s gone in a nano second. This is ridiculousness, not only do we true customers have to resort to buy online because the stores are closed or basic convenience... It’s another thing that actual “bots” or illegal software get these terrible resellers bags and rodeos to then sell the said wanted items at extortionate prices. this has completely turned me off into buying anything from hermes.com because it’s tiring and getting old to be quite frank.

Hermès.com needs to stop people who are buying vast amounts of bags/items and pinpoint who the resellers are. Truly, you know something is FISHY or who’s in the business of reselling when some people/“customers” are buying 16 lindys, picotins, bolides, etc. I blame Hermès for this...they need to fix this on their end real quick! ...And another thing who in this forum is reselling them for profit, if I am complaining about reseller bots, you best believe I am not reselling!!!
 
^^ the rodeo thread mentions there us a limit on rodeo online.. 3 per quarter or year??

TBH i also think it’s how Hermes website is built for some
Instances. I was able to snag 2 rodeo after refreshing and checking out quickly even though they were sold out
Few minutes ago. I think they load the item online but the inventory info has not caught up yet

but i am not here to minimize the frustration thou. Sometimes i just screen shot and send to my SA and wait and wait for her to get it in.

Yeah there has been a rodeo limit online (just like there has been a bag one) per account, and apparently they are also starting to limit them in some stores as well (we got some reports of a new in store limit at least for some places in the rodeo thread).
 
I didn’t say she was talking about me. I am mad about Hermès.com and the nasty resellers that don’t give one a chance to buy anything...only to resell at extortionate pricing!
A thought....Hermès knows what’s going on with these repugnant resellers , they don’t care about us!!!
I think it’s time for a little perspective, you shouldn’t allow yourself to get so worked up about ’stuff’ it’s not healthy. I understand it’s frustrating when you want to buy something and there isn’t stock availability but there are many more customers going for the same sought after items. Hermes is a business and their main concern will be their bottom line and protecting their intellectual property.

It’s funny to see people complaining of not being able to get bags from the website due to reseller bots, only to then watch them immediately resell the bags themselves for profit.
I don't think this is a reseller bot situation. Maybe, but it's not really productive if there's only one or two of an item available.

Rather, I think they simply load a very small number of items. It's easy to sell out if there's only one of something.

As for people buying too many bags - at this point, I have 6 mini lindys. Am I a reseller, or do I just like mini lindys?
