Hi guys,

I have my eye on chypre sandals in rose chapas/orange synthetique and beige majestic but can't seem to find them anywhere!

I'm assuming they are never available online and only in stores?
I've seen the beige majestic colourway available online before. It's not always in stock, thats probably why it isnt there at the moment. I think asking your SA about them is the easiest way to get your hands on a pair in the colourway you prefer.

Moving this to Chypre thread .

So for my regular size, my toes definitely touching the top lips.. almost curl up a tiny bit
Half size up, my toes stop right before the edge.
Full size up, my toes stay clear of the edge but they were overall too big and not comfortable to walk in. Hope this helps.
@spidermann , I Agree entirely with @tadad . I had these issues too. But, Unfortunately when my toes stopped right before the edge, I found it still too short, and uncomfortable for walking (bc it’s still so wide, my feet would bump up against the rim). Which is why I gave up and stick to Birkenstocks. Hermes sandals in my correct length are always too wide (and I do not have long slim feet at all).

Hi everyone,

Im thinking to get Chypre in Suede. So my question would be.. Should i half or full size up?

My oran and colette shoes both are in size 36.

Also, is it comfortable for a long day walk?

I'm usually a 5 in shoes and I had to size down to a 4.5 in the Chypre sandals. I felt my feet were slipping out of the shoes in a size 5. Although I think it's best to try these shoes on IRL due to the style of the shoes.

Yep, just bought my first pair yesterday at Madison for $910
I know - I just missed purchasing at the old pricing too. 😩

That sounds like when I bought the Gucci bloom slides.
I wear a size 6 and people said get your size or go a size
larger.

I was so surprised the size 6 slide off my feet so big.

I ended up sizing smaller buying a size 5 and they are comfy and perfect.

Now I am wondering since that happened to you, bet my size in the chypre will be too big on me and have to size smaller.

What size would you wear in a Hermes Oran? :flowers:

Both me and my sister went up half size for the Chypre, I’m usually 37.5 and took 38. While they may “look” too big, it’s not going to be comfortable if your toes or heel are hitting the part of the shoe that curves up. My sister has suede and she had no breaking in needed, no rubbing etc at all. I have leather and after 2 wears no more rubbing. Both of us have worn for hours at a time with no issue.

I wear a size 5 in the orans but I don't own them because the shape of my feet isn't suited them.

I see that other posters had to size up, which is why I think this shoe is best tried on in person! I agree that you have to make sure your whole foot fits inside the shoe vs hitting the lip.

Oddly Chypres are perfect fit and TTS for me. I wear 35 in both Chypres and Orans. I have now a few pairs, two of which are suede and they are super comfortable for me. I wear them everyday, all day, even for flights and I walk all over Paris in them. My feet do sit exactly within the sandals. HTH!

I sized down half a size for the chypre style. Im normally a 39.5 but found that the 39 was a better fit and more secure as these are open toe and heel sandals.
