That’s just been my personal experience. I find Orans very comfortable too. If in doubt, try them on in person to figure out sizing.

Yes I wish! Nowhere has them. My Hermes store and SA laughed when I asked about tryin them on if any sizes came in
They are very comfy for me and I literally live in them. I bought so many sandals and mules from H but I wear my black Chypre everyday and everywhere. I think you should be fine going up 1/2 size and they won’t be too big.
I can’t really wear Orans bcuz the straps are too big for my feet. I’m normally 6.5 or 7 depending on the style. I tried on the Orans in 6.5 and 7, the length was fine except the straps were too loose and my feet kept sliding off towards the front of the sandals. I even tried on size 6 with the hope that the straps would be a better fit for me. However, they were still loose. Although I don’t think my feet are narrow but Orans don’t work for my feet for some reason.
I wear Chypres in 7. Although the top straps are a bit loose for me too but I can tie the bottom straps up and they are fine.
Great info! What about 6.5 Chypre? Would that have been worked? I don’t wanna get a 38.5 if a 38 will work bc I’d rather not have to tighten the strap too much!
I can wear 36.5 too but the length is not comfortable for me as either my toes or my heels hit on the curve of the sandals and not sitting properly inside. Let me send pics to show you what I meant.
Size 37:
Now the beige argile suede in size 36.5 shows I have no rooms in the front and back. Either my heels or tip of my toes will hurt when I walk. That’s why I don’t do 36.5.

Do you think Hermes will ever make these more available? I can get a pair through a personal shopper but they’ll cost 2x retail and that seems absurd to me. Should I just find another shoe to waste my $ on
Did you ask your SA for a pair? I feel like there have been more lately and my SA told me new materials and colors /color combos coming too. Don’t pay double! You can definitely find another shoe to waste your money on!
So the SA I bought my 2 pairs of Orans from left Hermes and my 2 bags I’ve bought in Europe. So I feel like no SA is gonna go out of their way to find a pair. Yeah, I can’t get over these personal shoppers who are clealty working with SAs and they’re prob splitting the cost it’s insanity .
I saw it too and love the color. I was wondering the same although it looks real to me.
