I posted a bit back and my usual size 37 looked pretty similar. I was able to order a 38 and can say it is a much better fit as I have room for my heel and my toes do not touch the front ridge. size reference I am a 37 in birkenstock, Chanel dad, and Dior dad sandals and a 37.5 in chanel flats. If you can find at least a half to full size larger they may be a better fit if these are not comfortable.
Hi. I find my size 38 Birkenstocks are about an inch shorter in length than the chypre size 38. Was this your experience as well? I have an opportunity to get a size 38 but worried it will be too big.

i wear 37 for Birkenstocks and 36.5 for chypre (i bought 3 pairs this year! help it's a slippery slope!) and both are perfect fit. so i guess the sizing for Birkenstocks are a bit smaller than for chypre.

Hmm this is interesting. I wear a 36 in Birkenstocks, wonder if I could get away with a 36 or 35.5 in Chypres?

I do not have a 38 Birkenstock to see difference with my 38 Chypre. I am guessing I could also fit a 37.5 in Chypre sandal with the room I have in 38. I am typically a 37 in shoes and thats what I wear in other dad sandals by chanel and Dior and birkenstock. The Chypre 37 was short where my foot fit in it without any room. The 38 I do not touch the front rim and my heel has more Room. Hope that helps. I would say depending on how you like them to fit going a 1/2 to full size larger should be okay if your foot isnt extremely narrow.

Thank you so much!!! Fingers crossed.

Hi all! It's a challenge for me to find comfy sandals, I always end up with blisters (just got back home with under-heel blisters after wearing Tod's sandals...)

Wanted to try my luck with Chypres. Has anyone had under-heel blisters after wearing Chypres?
I had really bad blisters under the velcro strap bit from my white leather pair- did anyone else have this issue? The footbed itself was super comfy (much more so than the Chanel dad), but the straps cut up my feet :(

I suggest to put Moleskin padding underneath the strap to prevent the blister issue! I've put it under the small section where the stitches are because I felt it digging into my skin a little, and they are now perfect with zero issues. I'll take a pic and post tomorrow.

Here are pics with the moleskin I put on the part where it's stitched together and was rubbing against my skin, but I'm sure you could put moleskin on the entire under strap if the whole thing is bothering you:
