Ok don't shoot me, but I always thought Dad sandals are hideous and haven't jumped on that train yet at all, but now several friends are telling me how comfy they are, especially the shearling ones. I'm looking at either the tan or black with shearling...

Great collection! Are the pink shearling the rose du desert shade? On the website they look coral, but here yours look like a lovely vibrant pink! Congrats! How did you find the sizing to run on the shearling pair?

For those that have shearling chypres - how does they wear? Are they getting gross and getting bald spots easily? I bit the bullet/couldn’t pass up ordering the noir/ecru shearling, but honestly I’m on the fence. I much prefer the look of the shearling, but worry that I won’t get as much use as an all leather version. And the shearling will start looking pretty ratty quickly - especially with a light color…

I have the shearling and haven’t had any issues. I do t wear them every day, but I have worn them for full days and they still look new. No bald spots.

anyone else feels like your feet is swimming with the Chypres or I just have a very slim, narrow feet?
I took my usual size 36 and the length is perfectly fine it's just the width is too wide for my feet. I feel like it could fly off every time I walk. I know the velcro straps can be adjusted for tighter feet but it looks ugly that way as the velcro strap is protruding outwards. Any advice?

Also a good tip is to use Apple Pay.. that’s probably the only reason I got them. If I took the time to log in etc. they would have been gone!

I suspect they're TTS now. Purchased a 36 from the website and I normally wear a 36.5 in Oran and I have 36.5 on the way!

I got the white leather - I am a 37.5 or 38 in Oran and I ordered the 37.5 -they fit perfectly. I am sure I could also wear a 38 but anything bigger would be too big (I don’t have wide feet). Must be more TTS than before.

YES! That’s why I didn’t buy them. I’m actually surprised of all the people who say they own Orans and Chypres. IMO Orans fit narrow and Chypres wide feet. I do however see a lot of feet jammed into Orans that fit too tight.

I definitely feel like the Chypre are big and bulky and not the most flattering on my feet, but somehow I got over that, got used to the fit, and find them super comfy.

Agree, the Orans/Oasis are much more flattering on my feet (and frankly more of my "style"). Totally different look and vibe from the Chypre though, and I've come to love and appreciate the Chypre for what they are.
